Pretty great movie. I actually like the new cast I feel like they really fit in with the vibe. I can also appreciate that they kept the same animation style 30 years later. It gives you that nostalgia feel. The cinematography was beautiful and I really liked the costume designs.
The acting was great BUT, I feel like Jenna Ortega’s acting was a bit generic👀. Idk I feel like she always plays a bratty teenager and maybe I just need to see in her something else. She’s a great actress though. I do like the concept of this movie it was really fun and my family liked it so.
I do feel like it took a lot of time to get to the point but I understand that there’s new characters and it’s 30 years later so it was a lot of catching up to do. There were some pretty entertaining scenes towards the end that I enjoyed. I did like the soul train scene. Had me busting a move in that bitch. Also, the wedding scene was cool too. Probably my favorite part of the movie. Overall a good movie. 7.8/10 movie.
