Sigur Rós' song is in this?! A surprise but a welcome one.
This is definitely better than the original. I think it's because there is much less Mr. Juice, or at least it feels like it. I'm not the fan of the character but everything except him is pretty damn solid here. I thought that this was great up until Jenna met the ghost. I thought that it felt very forced. It made sense after the twist I guess but still, the plot was very very thin. I think the most of the stuff that's amazing are the set, practical effects and performances. And Bob obviously. Unfortunately the plot and story were pretty weak, it feels like you spend no time with these characters yet this movie is nearly 2 hours.
I had fun with this film, but I do wish that it tried to tell an actual solid story. It just feels like they had all the ideas and everyone was on board to come back (and it looked like they did have a lot of fun in this) but whenever anything moved forward plot-wise it just felt so forceful.
