Zombies (ゾンビ) are the reanimated corpses of the dead.
Appearance[]
Zombies look like corpses covered by rotting flesh that they are, although the exact portrayals vary with the media, ranging from frightening to funny.
Overview[]
Zombies are raised when there are enough unholy magic to let rotting corpses to walk again, such as summoned by necromancy or because of the dead's regrets in life. Most are mindless monsters that wander around attacking living beings or doing the bidding of their summoner, but they inherently seek salvation and thus are attracted by holy auras.[1] As they are undead, they can be destroyed by divine power.[2]

Trivia[]
- A common method of determining whether a rotting corpse raised into a low-level undead should be categorised as a Zombie or a Skeleton, is by checking how much of its bones are visible, with those exhibiting less than 50% classified as Zombies.[4]
