Giant Seaweeds (ダイオウワカメ) are light-type seaweed monsters.[1]

Giant Seaweeds are writhing masses of seaweed with horns of coral and glowing red eyes peering out from their interior.
Overview[]
A seaweed-type monster. It is a natural enemy of kelp and its favorite food is also kelp. They have huge appetites and will eat anything nearby, especially if it has dark colors like kelp.[1]
History[]
When Kazuma, Megumin, and Arue were helping Vanir run a beach-side shop, the two Crimson Demon girls freed a Giant Seaweed that was sealed in the closet of their room. The monster proceeded to eat all the kelp, which is a delicacy for the area, until Kazuma and party defeated it using Megumin as bait.[2]
