Genbus (
Appearance[]
Genbus look like tortoises the size of a small mountain that sport black shiny shells, while other specific appearance traits vary depending on the media.
Overview[]
Genbus dwell deep under the ground near mineral veins where it feeds on rare gems, but every ten years they will surface for a day to bathe under the sun, so many adventurers will seize the opportunity to excavate the rare minerals stuck onto its shell.

- Hard Shell: Genbus grow an extremely hard shell that even Explosion Magic can barely scratch.
Trivia[]
- The Great Tree Labyrinth had originally grown from a seed that fell off a Genbu.[3]
- In the initial web novel, the Genbu was simply referred to as "Treasure Island", and appeared when Kazuma was still struggling as a beginner adventurer.
