I write fic and make vids, and write books for a living. I started the AO3 back in 2007. You can find me there as

I pretty much exclusively use this journal for posting fannish work and glee. Lots of my fannish writing is explicit, and I often don't post content warnings, so be aware before you read. I very very rarely post locked, so I don't generally give access -- I don't like filtering, so I subscribe to just the journals I'm reading right at this moment in time.

You don't have to ask to subscribe to my journal, or to link to anything I post, or to crit my stuff, or to make sequels/podfics/fanart/whatever based on it, etc. As long as credit is given, you don't need my permission.

I WOULD love it if you post your work on the Archive of Our Own and cite my original story as a related work there, because then I can easily link back to you from the original story. :D

If you make a translation/remix/etc of one of my things and don't have an AO3 account, I have invites, just PM me your email address for one, and if it's for one of my stories that isn't on the AO3 yet, let me know and I'll put it up so you can link it.

Are there any native French speakers out there on my flist who could give me a quick consult on a line? I want a teenage character saying something roughly like: "How did he make them come apart like that? I have absolutely no idea. I was sure he was about to die." Ideally in a casual/slangy way, not a literal translation or anything. *peers around hopefully*

So I have a character in a book who wants to write poetry, only she's a native Mandarin speaker who grew up from birth to 13 somewhere not far from Shanghai.

I need help figuring out some poetry and literature she would have read and finding decent English translations. Does anyone have any recs for either? Or for any favorite Chinese-to-English poetry translators in general?

Go to a Dreamwidth post that you want to signal boost. You have to be ON the post itself; sadly this doesn't work from within your reading list. Also, you need to be logged in.

If you want an excerpt, select some text in the post.

Click the bookmarklet. You should be taken to the Dreamwidth post form with the signal boost content prefilled. You can add any other content you want, copy and paste the content to create posts with multiple signal boosts, etc. Whenever you're happy, you post it like any other post.
