Survivors must race to crack open coconuts and obtain the juice inside of them. Once they have some juice, they must maneuver through a series of obstacles and place the remaining juice into a tube. The first person/tribe to fill up their tube wins.
History[]
United States[]
The challenge debuted in Survivor: Marquesas where the remaining eight contestants were split up into pairs. The pairs had to open coconuts and pour the juice into tubes. Paschal and Sean were the first pair to fill up their tube, winning the challenge.
In Survivor: Vanuatu, the new Yasur tribe claimed its first victory with their new tribe member Rory, defeating the much stronger Lopevi, even after Leann tripped and almost spilled the bottle.
The challenge appeared in Survivor: South Pacific as the second individual Immunity Challenge, where Dawn, Jim, Sophie, and Whitney competed to fill up their tubes first. After a back and forth race between Jim and Sophie, Jim managed to finish first.

In La Isla 2012: El Reality, the challenge was used for Immunity. The tribes had to scale three steep ramps to retrieve the coconut bags in the shore. Once they returned, two castaways had the option to open them using either rocks or a wooden mallet to impale it into an iron pick. The Celebridades tribe got to a hot start, but Daniel's prior knee injury hindered them after the first ramp. The Famosos tribe had miscommunication issues when opening the coconuts. All of this led to the Desconocidos grabbing a win, earning them safety once again.
