Living at the old Savaii camp, Te Tuna was controlled by The Family, an alliance led by Coach Wade, resulting in the seamless pagonging of their rivals.

• Te Tuna is the second yellow merged tribe, following the gold Chuay Jai in Thailand, eighteen seasons and nine years prior.
• Brandon wrote "The Kid" on the tribe flag rather than his name, while Edna wrote her surname in Chinese, "馬".
  • The names of the Final Three on the flag were later encircled.
• Te Tuna is the first 12-person merged tribe to have equal numbers from both original tribes.
