Venus Vafa is a contestant from Survivor 46.
Venus' acerbic personality made her a social pariah from the outset, leaving her with few working relationships throughout the game. After the merge, Venus' game saw an uptick as she had a role in executing a number of blindsides, but she returned to the bottom at the final eight when the former Sigas took control of the game. Despite finding a Hidden Immunity Idol and coming close to winning an Immunity Challenge at the final seven, Venus remained unable to solidify trust with her tribemates, and her decision not to play her idol sealed her elimination on Day 21.

Name three of your favorite hobbies: Playing poker, creative writing and making short films. This is going to sound weird as hell…but cleaning is one of my favorite hobbies. I don't care if it's not considered one, it brings me so much peace and clarity. Yes, I am a clean freak.
List three adjectives that best describe yourself: Passionate, persistent, sassy
How would your friends describe you? They would describe me as a someone with a really tough exterior (think Regina George from Mean Girls), but a secret softy. I am actually a crybaby under my tough girl façade and am very emotional and empathetic to the tiniest of things.
What risks have you taken in your life to make a change for the better, even if the outcome wasn't planned? I come from a very conservative household. When it came time to choose universities I was faced with two options: (1) the easy option: a school 30 minutes away from home, meaning I would live with my parents and not have to worry about rent or meals, or (2) the hard option: a school 8 hours away that I would have to fund myself and be on my own for the first time in my life. I chose the second option, and to this day, it has been the best decision I have ever made in my life.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? My biggest accomplishment is also my biggest lesson in never giving up: Graduating from university.
What is something we would never know from looking at you? I am very observant and can see right through people's facades. The threshold to earn my trust is quite high BUT I become fast friends with the few people who meet it. I can tell when someone is authentic and on the same wavelength as me and quickly becomes as thick as thieves with them. This should come in extra handy on Survivor!
What past Survivor would you play the game most like? Parvati, Cirie[1]

Starting the game on the Nami tribe, Venus formed an early friendship with Soda Thompson; however, this relationship quickly soured as Soda gravitated towards Tevin Davis, who was himself unable to gel with Venus' difficult personality. At the same time, she conflicted with Randen Montalvo after tailing him on an idol hunt and he told her his observation that she was playing "like Parvati". However, Randen recognized the potential benefit of having Venus as an ally and the two formed an alliance. Despite Nami's winning streak in Immunity Challenges, Venus lost her lifeline when Randen was evacuated on Day 7, putting her back on the outs. Fortunately, with Nami consistently abstaining from Tribal Council, Venus was able to make it to the merge, where she planned to split away from the tribe that she felt had mistreated her.
However, Venus' game continued on a downward trajectory as she found that no one wanted to work with her; in particular, Maria Shrime Gonzalez called Venus out for being overly self-centered, while Tevin told her that she was unable to listen to anyone but herself, though she was unreceptive to these criticisms. Critically, she jeopardized her game during the Earn the Merge phase by attempting to throw Charlie Davis under the bus, prompting the majority Journey Six alliance to consider targeting her over Moriah Gaynor.
Although she was perceived as playing too hard, Venus was saved and, despite not becoming much better liked by her Nuinui tribemates, was able to join in on key blindsides following the merge. Notably, she joined Charlie, Maria, and Liz Wilcox in blindsiding Soda during the Double Elimination and falsely believed that she had engineered the blindside from scratch. She also joined in on blindsiding her long-term rivals Tevin and Hunter McKnight, but was left out of the vote at the final eight when Tiffany Nicole Ervin was voted out.
At the final seven, much of the tribe seemingly agreed that Maria had become a big threat after orchestrating Tiffany's blindside, and that Q Burdette had become her loyal soldier. Additionally, when the tribe searched for the Hidden Immunity Idol that they believed had been re-planted with Tiffany's elimination, Venus pulled off an unlikely find and pocketed the idol, which she vowed not to tell anyone else about. After narrowly losing the Immunity Challenge to Maria, Venus believed that her fellow tribemates were onboard with voting out Q to weaken Maria. However, a poorly-timed strategic discussion with Charlie where Venus alluded to having a secret advantage undermined her trustworthiness. This unsettling revelation prompted him to rejoin Maria at Tribal Council to blindside Venus with her idol in stow.
At Final Tribal Council, Venus cast her jury vote for Kenzie Petty, contributing to her victory in a 5-3-0 vote over Charlie and Ben Katzman.
