This article is about the challenge. For the episode of the same name, see "Survivor History".Survivor History (also known as Survivor Roots) is a recurring challenge from Survivor.
Held in a series of rounds, contestants or tribes would answer a set of questions related to previous seasons of Survivor. Answering the question correctly would score one point. The first contestant or tribe to reach a certain number of points would win.
History[]
The challenge debuted as the only Immunity Challenge after the tribe swap on Day 22. With the scores tied at 10-10, the tribes were asked a tiebreaker question, where they had to list the first castaways voted out in the first seven seasons. The new Chapera incorrectly answered the first boot of Pearl Islands, while the new Mogo Mogo got all the answers right, winning immunity.
In Micronesia, the challenge was played for reward, with the first person to correctly answer four questions winning. Erik Reichenbach answered "which was the first season to divide the castawaysbetweenfourtribes?" correctly, winning the challenge.
This challenge has only appeared in seasons featuring returning players.
Each time this challenge was used, the eventual 5thplace finisher won.
Only people on a greentribe have won this challenge.
The challenge was played individually for an advantage on the journey in "Tiki Man". There, the player had to arrange 20 Survivor logos by order of air date.
