Information

Shion (シオン) is a wandering dream arts user. She, alongside Lilac, later joined the Omega Party.

Appearance[]

Shion has long green hair with a ponytail on her right side. Her attire consists of a short white cloak with a green diamond-shaped pattern in the inside, a white and brown dress that is like a huntress wears, and white high-end boots. She also adorns an orange rose on her left shoulder, a dagger wrapped around on her hips, and a small gold locket around her neck.

Since Shion shares the same physical body as Lilac, whenever her personality manifests in their body, its appearance instantly shifts to match hers.

Personality[]

Abilities[]

Magic (魔法, Mahō): Shion is very skilled with dream arts, an unusual form of magic that is all but lost from the world in the present.

  • Musa (ムーサ): Shion uses a type of dream arts called Musa. She uses it to create barriers.
    • El Musa (エル・ムーサ): A stronger version of Musa. She discharges a giant grey ball from her hands and fires it.

Phantom User: Shion has an ability to create and manipulate phantoms. It was an ancient ability that was lost a long time ago. It allows the user to steal a person's memories and manipulate their consciousness.

Trivia[]

  • Both Shion and Lilac initially debuted in the non-canon video game Re:Zero Lost in Memories. However, they were later written to be canon characters in The Witch's After Tea Party / Omega in Wonderland.
    • In Lost in Memories, Subaru found Shion in the Remembrance Village, a world created from his memory. She was the navigator who helped him recover his lost memories. In addition, the name Shion was given to her by Subaru; she was previously nameless.
  • According to the author, Shion's birthday is September 9, the same day as Lilac.
  • Like Lilac, whose name shares a similar origin, Shion's name comes from a flower called Aster Tataricus, also known as Shion (紫苑). The flower has a meaning in Hanakotoba, the Japanese language of flowers, which corresponds to "I won't forget you." It is reference to the theme of Lost in Memories and was a name that was given to Shion by Subaru within the game itself.
