"The Princess Most Fair" is the eighteenth episode of the first season of Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. It premiered on April 27, 2015.

Synopsis[]

The team zaps into a musical fairy-tale land where they must sing whatever they say and their true feelings come out in song.

Plot[]

The episode starts at Middleburg Central High School's art class, where Rippen rates his students' arts, who gives them all negative ratings. Boone quotes that the best art tests the limits of beauty and true as he shows his Pigoliet, a sculpture of a toilet with a pig's head on its bowl. Rippen and the students all laugh at him for his Pigoilet as Rippen rates his art as "F---", upsetting Boone. At The Odyssey, Boone asks Penn if he likes his Pigoilet, which he says he loves it. The Multi-Universe Transprojector's portal opens, revealing a dark void, which uneases Penn and asks Phyllis what is up with the dark void, which she tells him it is fun for her when she sends them in without telling and she then zaps them in.

Now zapped in, Penn notes how dark the place is before he realizes that he is singing, wondering why is he doing so. Sashi then realizes she is singing too. Penn realizes that, in the world they got zapped into, they have to sing everything they say. Sashi opens the window, revealing that she is a male knight while Penn is a female princess. Penn then describes his princess role to Sashi as he tells her he wants to be a tomboy like her. Penn then wonders why it is coming out so wrong, which Sashi tells him that, in this world, true feelings come in song. He then tells Sashi to tell the mission as Sashi tells to stop singing about tomboys like her and she then tells the mission: an evil witch wants to steal a mystical crystal to turn the queen into stone with a hex.

At the evil witch's cave, Rippen, being the evil witch, sees himself in the mirror, who is Larry, talking about his evil witch appearence. The queen tells him he will be thwarted by the princess most fair, who is Penn, and that, if he gets away with this, he is crazy. Rippen casts a spell on the queen's moutn, turning it into a closed zipper, and says how it is cool being a lady and laughs.

At the castle, Penn tells Sashi they need to get out of there while she tries to open the door, which she calls Penn "Princess Obviously". Penn asks her what is the nickname supposed to mean, which she tell him he talks instead of joining and that it became an annoying routine. The two then argue before Boone appears, as a fairy godmother, and Penn tells him to get him and Sashi out of here. Boone pushes the two out of the window, letting them fall down the castle until Boone uses his magic to change two birds' sizes, becoming big and saving Penn and Sashi from falling. After landing, the birds the two are riding on become small again and get crushed and Penn then tells Boone they need to hurry up before the queen turns into stone, so Boone, using his magic, turns an acorn into a Pigoilet vehicle.

The heroes arrive at where the mystical crystal is in the Pigoilet vehicle as the guards protecting the entrance laugh at it, telling them their Pigoilet vehicle is "truly the royal flush" as various guards laugh. Boone, annoyed, tells Penn that the Pigoilet shouldn't be poke fun at, which Penn, being sincere, tells him that it stinks and is ridiculous. Meanwhile, Rippen is on a mushroom vehicle as he spreads magic to the forest. Boone tells him that he is jealous and that he can't handle the situation as he, Penn and Sashi all argue towards each other, distracting themselves. Meanwhile, Rippen's magic turns trees into monsters, who capture the guards, allowing Rippen to take the mystical crystal. While arguing, Boone and Sashi tell Penn that they know he sleeps with a teddy bear. Rippen hears that and laughs at Penn for sleeping with a teddy bear as Larry says Rippen sleeps with a poodle named "Freddy".

Rippen then commands his tree monsters to get the heroes as they try to defend themselves, but they end up getting captured by a the tree monsters. Rippen, in his mushroom vehicle, talks about how Penn consistently got him outclassed and that he is please because he believes victory is his at last. Larry then tells him that, when he was a kid, couldn't beat a videogame, using all of his quarters, until Old Man Middleburg, an adult in that time, told him it was a drier, not a videogame. Rippen says how Larry never left his side as Larry tells him that, if he wanted a hug, he just had to ask before both shout "victory is mine at last", with two skeletons doing a fist bump.

Penn, who is trapped in the cage the tree monsters made along with Boone and Sashi, tries to find a way to escape, so he asks his friends for any suggestions. Boone tells them to not look at him, as he was called irresponsible and that he can't take directions. Sashi apologizes to Boone, telling she didn't meant to call him irresponsible. Penn tells him they all say stuff while singing in verses, but that doesn't mean that he is not a good wiseman. Boone tells him that he is right and that he is not the best wiseman, but that there is no fear when Penn and Sashi are with him. Boone then tells his friends to come up with a plan for escape, so Penn takes his princess hat as Sashi blows its ribbon towards the tree monster keeping them trapped, tickling it and causing it to let the heroes go. After freeing themselves, the heroes then defeat the tree monsters together. Boone creates an ice surface as Penn and Sashi slide on the shield along the surface, sliding up a hill and then crash against the ground, leading Boone to drop his purple orb. Sashi looks at the purple orb, who is projecting Rippen with the mystical crystal, and gets sad, thinking they can't make it on time. Thankfully, Boone calls his Pigoilet vehicle, allowing them to go to the cave where Rippen and the queen is.

At the cave, Rippen is ready to turn the queen into stone with his scepter, with the mystical crystal on the tip, but the heroes stop him. He asks the heroes how did they escaped, which Penns then points to the Pigoilet vehicle. Rippen starts talking about how pretty and lovely the Pigoilet is and how he was jealous of it. He then proceeds to aim his scepter towards the queen as he is about to fire it, but, however, Penn hits the scepter, leading him to misaim his shot and fire at Larry, who reflects the shot back to him and, therefore, turning him into stone. The heroes then free the queen and exit the cave, leaving him and Larry alone. Rippen tries to move, but ends up falling and crumbling himself and saying how he hates musical songs, ending the episode.
