"That Purple Girl" is the fifth episode of the first season of Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. It aired on February 14, 2015.

Synopsis[]

Penn and Boone's friendship is put to the test when they both fall for a beautiful alien princess that they must escort through the jungle back to her tribe.

Plot[]

The episode starts with Penn and Boone, very exhausted, going to a race. Boone falls due to exhaustion and Penn tells him to not quit and he tells him that he must go to the race without him. Penn insists as he carries Boone close to the race as Mr. Egsgard calls them out for joining the race exhausted, revealing that the race just started.

At The Odyssey, the heroes are greeted by Phyllis, who acts nice to them, confusing the heroes as they are used to Phyllis acting mean to them, pointing out she even has a "Not Welcome" mat at the theater's entrance. Phyllis then uses a giant robot claw to pick up the heroes and place them in the Multi-Universe Transprojector to zap them in.

Penn and Boone zap as aliens while Sashi zaps as a huge blue alien creature, called Stinkburger, the boys are riding. Penn calls Sashi but he doesn't see her, with her replying they are above her. Penn and Boone think Sashi is inside the Stinkburger she zapped as until she tells them she is the Stinkburger, with them laughing upon seeing Sashi's face. Sashi, frustrated, launches them against a rock in a forest. Sashi then tells the mission: An alien princess is lost, with the Kronads going to capture her, and they must escort her back to her tribe.

Penn then sees the princess and instantly falls in love with her, having a fantasy with her. Boone, about to ask him what is he looking at, sees the princess and falls in love with her too. The princess then introduces herself to the boys by first saying her name, with Penn telling her the name sounds beautiful. The princess then says everything in nature is beautiful, even her name. The boys then tell her they came to save her, with her telling them that her light sustains her people and protects their bodies. She tells them they need to protect her from the Kronads or else she gets caught by them to use her light to make a weapon that will wipe out their forest. Sashi sarcastically tells her she should have stayed at home, with Penn calming her and telling the princess he and Boone are going to protect her.

The princess then tell the boys they first have to carry her bags. The boys start competing each other over the bags as Rippen, being a Kronad, watches them from the spaceship. Rippen talks about how he can win this mission with the press of a single button, but he gets puzzled upon seeing the large amounts of buttons the spaceship has. Larry, also a Kronad, appears telling him he got a similar situation with his microwave, where he had to relearn the functions of each button. Rippen doesn't want to get distracted so he blindly presses one of the buttons, causing the machine to self-destruct as Rippen complains about the spaceship having a self-destruct button.

The heroes and the princess are seen traveling through the forest as Sashi tries to resist her urge to eat the princess. The princess tells Penn and Boone to build a shelter for her. Boone tells her that he will build the shelter, but Penn tells her he will build the shelter instead. The princess walks away as she tells Sashi to heat the coal, calling her "beast". Sashi gets mad at her as the princess asks her if she forgot how to heap, calling her "beast" again. Sashi, frustrated, tries to eat the princess, but she takes out a nasty treat, distracting Sashi.

The villains manage to build their spaceship back as Rippen does an evil laugh before he gets distracted by Larry telling him his laugh is one of his most favorite things. Rippen then flies the spaceship in search of the princess while Boone brings her to a tent, lifted away from the ground to keep bugs from entering, with nets to catch bugs close to the tent and pillows filled with bugs. However, Penn shows her his shelter, having a dance floor, breakfast club, kickboxing gym and hot coal running water. The princess asks him if the shelter is filted, which Penn negates. The princess becomes disappointed as she burns down the two shelters with her light powers. Boone tells Penn to don't ruin his plans as he tells him the princess likes him, but Penn argues with him she burned down his shelter and Boone argues she burned his shelter too, so the two boys then try to determine who the princess is being polite to.

A montage appears showing the two boys (unsuccessfully) trying to impress the princess, using methods such as playing music, showing her flower bouquets and lifting heavy rocks. The boys are then seen carrying the princess on a chair before both get exhausted. The princess dismounts from the chair as she exclaims carrying her weightless light is exhausting before Rippen and Larry appear descending down in their spaceship, ready to capture her and with Penn and Boone going on their way to stop him. However, the boys' bodies are too exhausted that they became sore. Despite this, the boys go to attack Rippen, but his armor resists their attacks. Rippen effortlessly pushes them away as he commands Larry to take the princess' light. Luckily, Sashi appears and stomps him with one of her big limbs. Sashi then slams Rippen with her tail and tosses him away.

Sashi then brings the boys and the princess to safety, getting mad at the boys for getting themselves almost killed after they tried to impress the princess. Penn then asks her if he did impressed the princess, but Boone tells him he did impressed her. The princess then tells the boys they both do impressed her before announcing her comeback to her people. She then announces that the brave one is the one who slays Grunkion as the floor the heroes stand on opens, causing Penn and Boone to fall down as Sashi flies up.

Sashi goes to save the boys but she is blocked by a forcefield. The Grunkion then appears from the battlefield's hole, scaring the boys. Sashi tells the boys they have to work together, so the boys equip their weapons to attack, but the Grunkion effortlessly knocks them away towards the wall. Penn apologizes to Boone for the conflicts they had over the princess and Boone forgives him before proceeding to cry. The Grunkion drops his rock and ask them if they can yield. The two boys get confused by this, so the Grunkion tells them just because he is a beast doesn't mean he can talk, pointing out to Sashi, being the Grunkion's sister in this world. The two yield, allowing the Grunkion to marry the princess, ending the episode.
