"Flurgle Burgle" is the tenth episode of the first season of Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. It premiered on February 23, 2015.
Synopsis[]
The team is zapped into a new world as spaceship heroes to save a damaged starship from certain destruction, but Sashi accidentally turns Penn into a weird space animal.
Plot[]
The episodes starts at Middleburg Central High School's lunchroom, where Penn, Boone and Sashi are sitting together. Boone opens his lunchbox, shooting out small fireworks displays, and takes out his balanced school lunch, having milk, carrots and fish, saying that fish makes his brain smart. Penn asks him how fish makes him smart, which Boone replies that he hadn't eaten it yet. Penn then takes out his "deconstructing hamburger", which is a ball of meat, can of tomato soup and flour. Boone sees Sashi with a piece of cake and gets surprised, asking her if today is her birthday. Sashi tells him that his brother is in the border-quarter team, so his parents made him a cake to congratulate him. She gives the cake to Boone as she hears the school mascot coming in, so she approaches the mascot and attacks him. Penn tells her he is just their mascot, with her replying they don't know who is inside, but Boone tells him he is Terry as he takes out the costume's head. Sashi then drags Terry to the janitor's room, saying that never happened.
At The Odyssey, Penn, worried, asks Phyllis if they should be worried about Sashi taking her sidekick role seriously, as he points to her violently attacking three dummies. He and his friends then get zapped to the next mission.
The three are zapped in a spaceship as Penn thinks they are on a "super high-tech man cave" before Sashi tells him they are on a spaceship. Penn gets excited when he finds out they are in space until one of the spaceship's crew tells him they have been in space for three years, with Penn shaming her for taking it for granted. Boone enters the room from one of the doors as a Flurgle follows him, scaring Sashi as she takes out her laser blaster, thinking it is a threat. Penn puts down her laser blaster as he asks Boone what is the creature following him. Boone tells him it is like a "weird ugly dog" as he tells the Flurgle to roll over, but, instead, it smells its butt instead, disgusting the spaceship crew. Boone tells him to roll over again and it does so, giving it a treat as reward. Sashi then tells the mission: their spaceshio run out of fuel crystals and they have to travel to the planet below to collect them and fuel the spaceship, so it doesn't crash into the planet. Penn asks Sashi how much time they have until a voice appears counting down from five, scaring them and thinking they are gonna crash, but turns out to be just the microwave preparing butter. The heroes are about to teleport into the planet, but Flurgle approaches them. So, Sashi shoots it with her laser blaster, causing it to bounce around before bouncing at Penn, just right before they teleport.
At the planet, Penn, who combined with the Flurgle, calls out Sashi for using her laser blaster. Penn then sees his reflection in a lake, finding out he combined with the Flurgle. Sashi finds out the teleporting process combined them together. Boone gives a treat to Flurgle Penn as he rejects it, but starts behaving like the original Flurgle, telling Boone to give him. Sashi suggests they should go back to the spaceship, but Boone tells her only she should go back, as she was responsible for Penn combining with the Flurgle. Penn says they should stay there, figuring out a way to solve the problem, but feels he is about to poo, so he hides in a bush to do poop.
Rippen, being an alien, watches the heroes with a pair of binoculars, celebrating the fact that Penn turned into a Flurgle, thinking he will win the mission, but he is distracted by Larry once again. The spaceship enters the planet's atmosphere while Flurgle Penn is chasing and eating bugs as Boone records him with his device. Sashi tells him to focus on the crystals, but Boone is still distracted by Flurgle Penn. Sashi, annoyed, tells him to keep focusing as Boone tells her it is her fault for what happened to Penn, telling her that he won't let her take away the thing that causes Flurgle Penn's joy, that being a space bug. Sashi squashes the space bug, saddening Flurgle Penn, but, luckily, a bunch of space bugs recover the squashed space bug, making Flurgle Penn. However, Boone tells Flurgle Penn to stay as he puts a collar on him. He then tells Sashi to take Flurgle Penn for a walk, but she gets angry as they need to focus on the mission, releasing the leash and letting Flurgle Penn flee away, chasing after the space bugs. Boone and Sashi go after Flurgle Penn, but they are stopped by Rippen and his alien soldiers.
Rippen brings the two to sit in grey chairs as they get handcuffs on their hands and feet. Meanwhile, the spaceship is about to burn up on the planet's atmosphere, with the crew panicking. Sashi sees the spaceship about to burn up as she laments about what she did, admitting it was her fault, but Boone forgives her, saying everyone makes mistakes, but Sashi tells him that doing her job as a part-time sidekick right is her thing. She then admits she didn't get a congratulation cake. Boone asks why she didn't, as he tells her parents would be proud of her until she tells him her parents think she works at Fish Sticks On A Stick, as they don't know she is a part-time sidekick. Larry hears the conversation and starts to cry as he wanders away, kicking a rock in his way. However, the rock gets kicked so hard that it breaks part of a cliff's wall, revealing a fuel crystal. Sashi gets excited as they can now save the spaceship, but Rippen tells her and Boone it is too late, as the spaceship is burning up and Flurgle Penn is gone. Rippen points the two with a gun, but, luckily for her, Sashi sees Boone's treat for Flurgle Penn, so she picks it up and calls for him.
Flurgle Penn is about to eat a space bug, but he hears Sashi's call and goes after her. Rippen is about to shoot the two with his gun, but Flurgle Penn appears, blocking the shot with his collar. The laser bounces around, crashing against the walls and, therefore, revealing more fuel crystals, before it pierces Sashi and Boone's handcuffs, breaking them and freeing the two. She and Boone picks up the fuel crystals and she then calls the spaceship crew to teleport them back. The two, along with Flurgle Penn, get teleported back at the spaceship, with Penn and the Flurgle finally separating. The two then brings the fuel crystals at the engine, allowing the spaceship to fly back to space. The crew congratulate the heroes, but Penn decides to give Sashi the credit as the real hero in the mission as they get zapped back by Phyllis.
Sashi returns to her house, seeing that Penn and Boone made a cake for her, shaped after the Flurgle. Sashi eats a piece, but gets quickly disgusted by its taste. Penn asks her if she liked it, which she, hiding her disgust, lies to him saying she loved it, ending the episode.
