"I'm Super!" is the sixth episode of the first season of Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. It premiered on February 15, 2015.
Synopsis[]
When Penn, Boone, and Sashi are zapped into a world where everyone has superpowers, Penn learns that you don't have to have superpowers to be a hero.
Plot[]
The episodes starts with Phyllis inserting some sort of energy transferrer to the Multi-Universe Transprojector. Penn appears, scaring Phyllis and almost making her drop the energy transferrer, and asks her where are they going to zap to, hoping it is a world less dangerous than last-week mission: one involving Penn fighting and eating a burrito monster. Phyllis tells him they are going to a world of superheroes, causing Penn to become excited, due to him being a big fan of superheroes. Penn asks his friends which superpowers they like to have, with Sashi replying "death vision", before they get zapped into the mission.
Penn zaps as a superhero as he joyfully flies around the city with his flight power. He then tests his super strength and laser vision on a rock before flying again, accidentally crashing against a tree. Boone appears as a superhero with psychic powers, talking without moving his mouth, allowing Penn to find out Boone can read minds. Sashi then appears from a trash bin, introducing herself as "Skunk Woman". Sashi then tells the mission: they have to stop a supervillain from destroying the city with his secret weapon. Penn then introduces his superpowers, muscles and underwear outside of his pants before he gets distracted by a puppy crossing a street with vehicles driving. Penn tries to save the dog, but a truck crushes him. However, the dog rips the truck in half, revealing himself to be a superhero dog.
The heroes then notice various other superheroes: a group of superhero builders on a construction site, a math teacher with super speed, a grandma that can change her size and a hot dog chef that breathes fire. The three heroes then stumble upon a certain superhero who introduces himself as Captain Super Captain. Penn asks him about the various superheroes and he tells him that everyone in the city has superpowers. Penn demonstrates his powers to him, but ends up accidentally shooting lasets to the Daily Prism's prism, sending three lasers that destroys two buildings, with the remaining laser reflecting towards the heroes. Thankfully, Captain Super Captain deflects the laser with his forcefield. Penn and his friends decide to focus on the mission, as the city needs them, but a mob of superheroes appear carrying signs, telling them they don't need them.
However, a robotic limb appears, ripping and crumbling the floor apart before resurfacing, revealing himself to be Rippen. All the superheroes all go to attack him. However, Rippen takes out Larry, who is fused with the machine, and hugs Speedster, the speedy math teacher, stealing her super speed and giving it to Rippen. Rippen then tells the superheroes Larry has the ability to steal the superpowers of any superhero he hugs, with Larry introducing himself as Larrisite. Larry then proceeds to steal the superpowers of various superheroes, including Boone and Sashi. Penn gets ready to fight Rippen but he then sees Penn's symbol on it and gets confused on what it is supposed to be, with Penn telling him he doesn't even know. The two then proceed to fight, with Penn starting by shooting a laser at Rippen, but he dodges it, hitting a statue instead. Rippen then shoots a huge laser beam towards Penn, knocking him against a wall. Larry then hugs him, stealing his powers and his "great wink". Penn escapes from Rippen as he hides in an alley, noticing Boone and Sashi and the other superheroes hiding too, lamenting that they lost their powers. Penn tells everyone that, according to Sashi, the real power is "the power that lies within" and then tells Regular Size Giant Old Lady to take him to her lamp store.
Rippen is seen causing havoc in the city as he announces he will conquer the world tomorrow. Larry hears and says he will give himself at least a week to conquer the world as he talks unrelated things. Penn tosses something at distracted Rippen's head, telling him it is time for "some old school". Regular Size Giant Old Lady appears swinging from a cane filled with lightbulbs as she turns them on, flashing Rippen with the lightbulbs' light. Then, Boone and other superheroes appear and pushes objects towards Rippen, hitting him. Then, Captain Super Captain pulls out wires from Rippen's mech's leg. Finally, Sashi launches herself towards the arm connecting Rippen and Larry and cuts it with a giant spatula Spatula Man gave to her, giving all the stolen powers back to their owners.
Rippen and Larry are sent to prison as the three heroes stand on top of the Daily Prim's building, with Penn saying that Sashi was right about superpowers not being needed to be a superhero before he falls down from the building. Sashi gets shocked before Penn flies up saying it doesn't hurt having them, with her angrily swinging her ponytail towards him, spraying him with skunk spray. The spray causes him to sneeze, accidentally shooting his laser towards the prism, sending lasers in various directions and destroying various buildings. Sashi then looks at Penn, who becomes nervous at seeing her, ending the episode.
