Elister Lawrence "Larry" Wilmore is an American comedian, writer, producer, and actor. He is known for hosting The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. He is also the creator of the sitcom The Bernie Mac Show.
For Disney, he voiced Principal Larry in the Disney XD animated series Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. He also played Vern Corker in the ABC TV show The Mayor.
