"The QPC" is the thirty-third episode of the first season of Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. It premiered on September 28, 2015.

Synopsis[]

Uncle Chuck and Aunt Rose must prove that they have a heroic side after they break the QPC—an essential part of the machine that zaps Penn back from other worlds—before their nephew is lost forever.

Plot[]

The episode starts at Penn's house, where he is going to school and says bye to Chuck and Rose, but Chuck stalls him, telling him they have to talk. Penn asks if it is about bathroom safety again, but Chuck denies, telling him it is about his relationship with The Chinchilla, who is on a bowl filled with bath powder. Rose tells Penn he and The Chinchilla will get along better if he spends more time with him, telling him The Chinchilla has a massage at 3:00. However, Penn tells her he has to go to The Odyssey to complete his mission, saying it is important, but Chuck tells him spending time with The Chinchilla is important too. Rose picks up The Chinchilla as she and Chuck sing a song to it, bringing The Chinchilla to Penn, causing him to sneeze due to the powder The Chinchilla got covered with.

At The Odyssey, Chuck and Rose go inside to visit Penn, who gets zapped in along with Sashi and Boone. Rose tells Phyllis to stop as Chuck tells her that Penn has to have a massage with The Chinchilla before getting surprised by watching Penn fight a horde of laser-shooting soldiers in the Multi-Universe Transprojector's portal. Rose asks The Chinchilla to watch Penn doing the mission there, but sees that he isn't on Chuck's pouch. They then see The Chinchilla biting the QPC, with Rose angrily telling him to stop, but he ends up pulling the QPC and smacking the control booth with it, causing the screen on the Multi-Universe Transprojector's portal to stop displaying. Rose asks Phyllis if he is fine, which she tells her he is, but she has to fix the QPC in a hour to bring him back or else he is lost forever. Chuck asks her if she can fix it, which she tells she can as long as The Chinchilla doesn't cause trouble just before she gets frozen by The Chinchilla using an ice gun. Chuck gets worried, but Rose calms him down, telling him the effect may last less than a hour, but, reading a warning label saying "EFFECTS LAST LONGER THAN 1 HOUR", quickly finds out that isn't the case and starts to become desperate, saying they will never see Penn again. Chuck decides to call Penn's parents with his MUHU, seeing Brock fighting a TV-headed skeleton and asking Chuck what did he do.

Meanwhile, Penn is fighting Rippen, who is a blue alien, as he pushes Penn into a cliff, grabbing to the edge to avoid falling while saying that the massage with The Chinchilla would have been better.

At The Odyssey, Brock is mad at Chuck for breaking the QPC so Vonnie calms him down and tells Chuck and Rose they can't fix the QPC in time, so they need to replace it with another QPC. So, Brock tells the two that they need to charge up the MUHU first so he can remain communicating with Chuck and Rose, but, however, the MUHU runs out of battery, so he charges it. Chuck gets desperate and tries to find out what are they gonna do, but quickly remembers Phil has the only other copy of the QPC, so they go to Fish Stick on a Stick. Phil greets Chuck as Rose asks him how does he knows him, which he tells her he is his bowling partner while Phil tells her he is his best costumer, annoying Old Man Middleburg, who tosses his lunch, cap and flag to the trash bin and goes away. Chuck tells Phil they need a QPC, which he tells them he gave the only other QPC to Rippen, who uses it as a hot plate at school, so Chuck and Rose go to Middleburg Central High to get it.

At Middleburg Central High, they try to go to Rippen's room, but they are stopped by Mr. Egsgard, who asks them where are they going, which Chuck tells him they are going to visit him, which Egsgard tells them Rippen has no friends and that only himself can enter his own room after hours, so he tells the two to go away. Chuck asks what would happen if they don't, which Egsgard scares them with his whistle, leading them to enter the janitor's room to hide. Chuck finds a bucket of ACME paint there, so he uses it to paint his face to look like Rippen's and pretend to be him to decieve Egsgard into letting him enter his room. At the art classroom, Chuck, disguised as Rippen, lets Rose in through the window as The Chinchilla jumps out of her back pouch and lands on an Earth sculpture. Rose tells Chuck to find that QPC, but The Chinchilla breaks the Earth sculpture, catching Ms. Monkenfluffer's attention, so Rose hides behind Rippen's desk. Ms. Monkenfluffer enters the classroom, so Chuck, disguised and pretending to be Rippen, distracts her while Rose is looking for the QPC in the desk, finding the box for the QPC. Ms. Monkenfluffer asks Chuck, thinking he is Rippen, if they are going to go to dinner together tonight, which he accepts before exiting the classroom with Rose.

Meanwhile, Penn is captured by two alien soldiers as Rippen twitches, saying he felt a "dreadful fate is awaiting him". Chuck and Rose exit Middleburg Central High with the box, but, however, they see that the QPC, have been taken by Larry. Egsgard appear from a bush and finds out Chuck is disguising as Rippen, so he scares them with his whistle.

At Larry Manor, Chuck presses the doorbell, with Fredricks opening the entrance and asking them if they want to apply. Rose lies to him by telling him she wants to apply and that Chuck is her agent, so Fredricks lets them in. Rose tells Chuck to find the QPC while she pretends to be applied for the job, so Chuck goes in search for the QPC as Matthews calls Rose, telling her it is a honor to have someone with an agent applied. Old Man Middleburg tells Matthews he and his agent applied first, but Matthews tells him he doesn't have an agent as she and Rose go to the dinner room. Chuck sees Tony resting on the QPC, so he goes to pick it up, but Tony smacks and knocks him away with his trunk, so The Chinchilla fights Tony. Meanwhile in the dinner room, Fredricks is discussing with Rose about the appointment, but the alarm sound plays, alarming him and Matthews Chuck took the QPC away from Tony, so Rose goes with Chuck to the entrance to exit. The two are being chased by Matthews and Fredricks, with Matthews telling everyone inside to go after the two, prompting them to chase after the two.

Egsgard is about to start a race, but Chuck and Rose, along with the mob chasing them, interfere in the race, leading to Egsgard and the competitor students to chase them. Chuck and Rose pass by buckets filled with torches and tridents, which are then picked by the mob. The two hide from the mob and then go inside The Odyssey to put the QPC back ot its place.

Rose presses the now fully-charged MUHU to call Brock and Vonnie to show them the QPC they got, so Brock tells them that if they put the QPC the wrong way, it will blow Middleburg up. Chuck puts the QPC in its place, but places it in the wrong way, causing the Multi-Universe Transprojector to become unstable and generate various thunderbolts, leading to catastrophes such as the moon exploding, Jupiter losing its gas mass and Saturn cutting a planet with its rings. So, The Chinchilla comes in and arranges the QPC's position, leading everything to return to normal right as Phyllis gets unfrozen. Phyllis zaps the heroes back, with Penn asking what took her too long. Chuck and Rose approach Penn and hug him, but a policeman shouts from outside that they got them surrounded, so Chuck tells Penn he and Rose are going to be absent for a few days, but Rose tells Penn he can spend time with The Chinchilla.

Outside The Odyssey, Rippen and Larry exit Fish Stick on a Stick as Rippen sees Ms. Monkenfluffer, telling him she is ready to date with him, leading to Rippen to nervously wave at her, ending the episode.
