"The Fast and the Floor Rugs" is the seventh episode of the first season of Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero. It premiered on February 15, 2015.
Synopsis[]
After Penn and his team are zapped into a desert world filled with flying carpets, Penn begins to question Boone's abilities as the team's part-time wise-man.
Plot[]
The episodes starts with Penn and his friends getting ready to zap, with him telling Sashi if they encounter vampires, she must stab them at the heart instead of burning them, as it smelled bad last time, and telling Boone to focus on his job as a part-time wise-man. Boone then says the best part about having brackets is that, after eating, they keep leftovers on his mouth. Penn tells him they are not communicating before they get zapped in.
Now zapped in, Penn gets puzzled when he sees a carpet below him, thinking it is a regular one, before he looks down and sees the carpet is floating, finding out it is a magic carpet. Boone, who is trapped in a magic lap, screams for Penn before he frees him out of the magic lamp and revealing him to be a genie. Boone first gets scared when he sees he has no legs until Penn tells him he is a genie, causing Boone to get excited since he can now have genie powers. The boys then see Sashi, who is now a monkey, hanging from a tree and landing on the carpet, telling them she will break their faces if they make fun of her monkey appearence. Sashi is about to tell the mission, but is interrupted by Boone saying "monkey business" would be a good name for a monkey-running business. Sashi then tells the mission: they have to protect the lamp from bandits, who want to use it to destroy the sultan's palace. Penn tells them how easy the mission would be as long as the bandits don't know where they are, but Boone, messing with his genie powers, summons a monkey-shaped hot air balloon promoting monkey business, attracting the bandits.
The bandits appear, also riding flying carpets, and go towards the heroes. Rippen appears, being one of the bandits, and tells them to bring the lamp to them before being distracted by Larry, being a bandit too. Rippen then commands his bandits to get the lamp before the heroes flee away on their magic carpet as the bandits follow them. Penn tells Boone to help him and Sashi, but he summons ice cream cones instead. One of the bandits tries to approach them, but he is knocked away by Sashi, crashing him against a statue of a man, crumbling it apart except its head and crumbling the lion statue's head. Boone starts messing around with his genie powers, summoning a camel that blocks Penn's view in the process, causing him to fall down a cliff.
Penn tries to find a way to stop the magic carpet from falling as Boone keeps messing with his powers, lifting the camel with a parachute. Penn quickly stops the fall using a lever on the magic carpet, saving himself and his friends. Boone summons an anchor right after and tells the mission has been accomplished. Penn, frustrated, tells him that he should remain inside the lamp, so he and Sashi can do the mission on their own, upsetting Boone as he encases himself inside the lamp and goes away from Penn.
The bandits see the lamp and chase it while Penn and Sashi go to stop them. The lamp goes through a train track as the bandits follow it before they are blocked by a train of flying carpets carrying cargo. The bandits wait for the cargo to pass, but Penn flies above it. Penn is about to get the lamp back, but the anchor on the carpet falls down, causing it to unravel. Penn and Sashi then crash on the ground while one of the bandits catch the lamp and brings it to Rippen. He then rubs the lamp to summon Boone but he is blocked by the lamp's spout being bended after hitting a rock. He then asks to his bandits for a pair of pliers to unbend the spout, but one of them tells them he only got one plier and not a pair. He and Larry then go to a store for a pair of pliers, but they are stopped by a policeman, distracting them.
Penn and Sashi are on a cliff near a waterfall, lamenting that he made Boone upset. Sashi tells him that the problem with Boone isn't that he does things wrong, but that he doesn't do things Penn expects him to do and that he isn't supposed to do so, saying that "Boone is Boone". Penn then notices Sashi eating bugs on his hair, saying that "she is me" and because she is a monkey. Penn then sees the sultan's palace far away.
Larry is seen buying plants for the bandits, with Rippen being given a pair of pliers, using it to unbend the lamp's spout, allowing Boone to come out off of the lamp. Boone asks him what did he do to his friends, but Rippen tells him his genie powers are his now. Rippen then exclaims to bring him and his minions to the sultan's palace, expecting him to teleport him there, but Boone tells him he doesn't know where the palace is, causing Rippen to get puzzled.
Penn and Sashi are seen on a tall cliff as he is about to push Sashi riding the carpet, trying to know if the carpet can float in large heights. However, Penn accidentally knocks Sashi away from the carpet, causing her to fall down the cliff. Penn goes down the cliff on his carpet to save Sashi and then they fly back up from the cliff.
Rippen is then seen looking at a map as Boone tells him he should wish for a GPS, with Rippen replying he doesn't want to waste one of his wishes. Larry insists he should do the wish, so Rippen wishes for the GPS and gets one. However, the GPS can't turn off as Boone tells him he didn't wish for a GPS with batteries. Larry tells he should have bought batteries at the store, since the store sells various types of batteries. Boone then gets distracted by Larry as they talk about babies and nickels. Rippen angrily wishes for peace and quiet, but he gets peas and a pair of earmuffs instead. Rippen angrily tosses the earmuffs as a bandit goes to pick it up, but he then sees the sultan's palace, calling Rippen and the other bandits. However, Penn appears on his carpet, Rippen and Larry try to stop him, but he drops an anchor on them, leading to them dodging it, causing the anchor to impact on the cliff and breaking part of it. Rippen and Larry lose their carpets' balance, with Rippen crashing down and Larry being launched away. The lamp is seen falling down along with Boone, but, thankfully, Sashi catches the lamp and safely brings it to the ground. Penn then apologizes to Boone for making him upset, saying he is the "anchor" of his team.
Rippen appears and says he only got one wish. to destroy the sultan's palace. Boone says he thought he was gonna wish for Penn to get annihilated, but, unluckily, Rippen hears it and changes his wish, much to Penn's dismay. However, he says he had to say "I wish" before saying the wish, leading to Rippen to do the wish: wishing for Penn to get expired. However, Boone, instead of annihilating Penn, turns him into an expired milk carton box. Rippen gets flabbergasted, with Boone telling him he wished for Penn to get expired instead of getting annihilated. Rippen wishes for Penn to get annihilated again, but Boone tells him he ran out of wishes. Sashi then drops Penn's expired milk on Rippen, causing his carpet to malfuction and fly away. Penn then brings the lamp to the sultan, but he rejects the lamp, saying he could have brought him some monkeys as he points to the monkey business hot air balloon, ending the episode.
