"Sanctuary" is the forty-first episode of Gargoyles, and the twenty-ninth single-part episode of the series. It aired on December 18, 1995.

Plot

Arriving in Paris, Goliath and Elisa must put a stop to Demona, currently in her human guise of Dominique Destine, courting Macbeth for marriage. Little do they realize she and Thailog have other plans in mind for him.

Trivia

• It is unknown how Macbeth was able to settle in a manor in the short time since leaving Avalon. Its possible he owns numerous safe houses around the world under the name Lennox MacDuff.
• MacBeth ceases all hostility with the Manhattan Clan after this story.
• Demona and Thailog create Nightstone Unlimited.
• Demona's transformation is slower than the last time she transformed near MacBeth.
