Big Daddy is a character from the Disney animated series Gargoyles.
Background[]
Big Daddy is a male Loch Ness Monster whom Anton Sevarius attempted to capture. Sevarius attempted to attract Nessie with Big Daddy so she can mate with him as Sevarius planned to capture the two. However, it turns out that Sevarius is actually attempting to capture them with a taser, so Angela had to stop his plans from happening, causing Sevarius to fail his plan. Afterwards, Nessie gave birth two to offspring happily roaming around the lake freely with her mate Big Daddy and her two offspring after Nessie was released from the grotto.
Role in the series[]
In "Monsters", Big Daddy is seen swimming around frantically to avoid getting captured by Anton Sevarius and the commando group where he escapes from them while Angela is captured and imprisoned into a grotto which Sevarius reports to the commandos that they have failed to capture Big Daddy.
Later, Big Daddy gets attracted to Nessie who has a sonar tag around her neck where the two begin mating as part of Sevarius' plans while Sevarius attempts to capture the two while Angela is held hostage on Sevarius' submarine. After Goliath saves Angela's life, the latter notices the sonar tag placed by one of the commandos on Nessie which Angela removes it from her. Seeing Big Daddy, Sevarius fires a taser on Big Daddy to capture him, much to Nessie's shock while Angela rescues him from being captured followed by Big Daddy retaliating against Sevarius by ramming into his sub, followed by Nessie working together with her mate to destroy the sub, causing Sevarius' plans to fail. With Sevarius defeated, Big Daddy and Nessie gave birth to two offspring as they happily swim around Loch Ness freely just as Angela feels happy that Nessie was able to reunite with her mate Big Daddy.
