Raven is a minor antagonist in the Walt Disney Television Animation animated series Gargoyles. Raven works for Oberon and is one of the Tricksters in the animated series.
Physical appearance[]
Raven has at least three known forms: a large black raven, a gargoyle-like being with a raven’s head, and a dark-haired, arrogant-looking man with "elvish" features.

"Heritage"[]
Raven is shown to be a hostile trickster spirit towards the Avalon World Tourists - showing a misanthropic personality having prejudice against humans who destroyed the gargoyles of his clan. He even showed a very notorious temptation into tricking Goliath and Angela into confronting Grandmother going on a search of Natsilane often interpreting the former as a villain. Another despicable plan he did in summoning a bear to kill Eliza, which Bronx was able to frighten the bear that he summoned, causing his plan to fail.
Other despicable plans Raven did was an act of sending some illusions of that represent the survivors of his clan who were killed by humans - consisting of a bear, a wolf, and an eagle which are all in gargoyle form. Raven finally made his last stop at the volcano of Queen Florence where Natsilane came up during a battle against him to stop ruling this land. In revenge, Raven summoned a group of illusions to stop Natsilane and his allies - albeit in the form of a blocky, wooden design based on that of a totem pole; during battle, the Manhattan Clan was able to defeat the totem beasts, resulting all three of the warriors to be smashed. Natsilane ended up confront Raven in battle to protect his land from being taken over as Raven later fled the volcano in retreat and defeat.
"The Gathering: Part One"[]
Since Raven was defeated by Natsilane in his first appearance, he returns to Avalon for the Gathering in line with the other Children of Oberon. Raven did not speak in this episode.
