Petros Xanatos is the father of David Xanatos. He first appeared in the Gargoyles episode "Vows".

A Greek fisherman, Petros is a man of strong integrity and initially doesn't agree with the way David lives his life. He believes his son would've been better off as a fisherman like himself.

Peter believed that Xanatos did not deserve the gift that had launched his career.

Physical appearance

Petros is an elderly Greek-American man with grey hair and a thick mustache. He sports a tan jacket over a white shirt, and tan trousers, and brown shoes.

Trivia

• Early in production, Petros was originally going to be called Stefan.
