In the volume, half of the Straw Hat Pirates pose in futuristic outfits. This cover page was originally part of a two-page spread published with chapter 24, alongside chapter 18's cover. A combined version of this spread, uniquely printed in color, was included on the inside of One Piece Party Volume 4's sleeve.
In the magazine, Luffy stands with a large flag depicting a skull-and-crossbones. This image was later reused as the volume illustration of One Piece Party Volume 4.
Short Summary[]
The Straw Hat Pirates win a lottery, allowing them and Law an all-expenses paid visit to Kyuka Island, guided by Moda. They are ambushed by remnants of Baroque Works, but are saved by Dorry and Brogy, who also won the lottery.
Long Summary[]
The chapter opens with Usopp and Luffy introducing the concept of the chapter, explaining that the Straw Hat Pirates will be going on vacation on Kyuka Island.
Brook and Robin walk through a town, with Chopper in front of them, who's pretending to drive a racecar. Upon reaching a fork in the road, Robin proposes going to the right, and Chopper orders his car to go to the right, who's revealed to be Law. Embarassed, Law tells Luffy, who's shoulders he's riding, to go down the right path, and he complies.
After turning the corner, the Straw Hats find a lottery stand, and Chopper plays. He wins the grand prize, a free trip to Kyuka Island, and they are told to return to the stand when they're ready to leave. The Straw Hats return to the Thousand Sunny to tell the rest of the crew, and after they pack, they return to the stand. There, they find Moda with two Masukeredomo Goayu Birds, who will bring them to the island. Right before they leave, they are suddenly approached by Law, who apologizes for being late, though the Straw Hats are confused to see him. Luffy explains that the prize was for the members of the Straw Hats, to Law's embarassment; however, after invoking honorary membership as part of the Straw Hat-Heart Alliance, Luffy is convinced to let him join. The pirates climb onto the birds, with the women in "first class" - with reclining seats and drinks - and the men in "economy" - holding onto the bird's back.
After a short flight, they arrive at Kyuka Island, and the pirates change into their swimwear. However, when Law approaches the pool, he is stopped by security, who point out a sign barring guests with tattoos. Law argues that Nami also has a tattoo, but the guards let her pass because she's cute, prompting arguments from the rest of the Heart Pirates (who have, inexplicably, also arrived on the island). Watching, the Straw Hats chastize them for coddling Law, prompting an argument between the two crews.
Noticing that Nami and Robin have left to the salon, Sanji and Brook leave to follow them, when a woman suddenly asks them to help her put on sunscreen. At the same time, another woman and a man draw away the rest of the Straw Hats, and Mr. 3, revealing himself, traps them all in wax. With the Straw Hats trapped, Miss Valentine, Miss Goldenweek, and Mr. 5 also reveal themselves, and they explain that they're here to kidnap Brook, the famous musician "Soul King". When Luffy argues that he won't let them take one of his crew members, Mr. 3 uses Super Candle: Ultimate Champion. He declares that he is 100 times stronger when docked together, and prepares to hand over the Straw Hats - except Brook - to the Marines for their bounties.
The former Baroque Works agents begin attacking the trapped Straw Hats, who are unable to counter, and cause widespread panic across the island. However, before they can fully defeat them, they are interrupted by Dorry and Brogy, who also won a free vacation. Recognizing the Straw Hats and Mr. 3, they help the trapped pirates, launching Luffy into the Ultimate Champion and shattering it. Beaten, the Baroque Works agents apologize for attacking the Straw Hats; as they do so, Robin returns from the spa, borrowing Moda's cowboy hat to recreate her appearance as Miss All-Sunday. She scolds the agents, and after Nami extorts them for some money, they throw all have a party on the vacation island.
Before leaving, Brook and Sanji trade Soul King's autograph for wax figures of Nami and Robin, to Nami's annoyance.
