Luffy, Ace, and Sabo challenge Garp to a duel to prove they can become pirates. The brothers manage to outsmart Garp and win the "Summit War of Mt. Colubo (コルボ山 頂上戦争, Korubo-yama Chōjō Sensō?)", gaining free ice cream at Partys Bar.
Long Summary[]
The chapter opens with Usopp and Chopper welcoming the reader to One Piece Party and explaining the plot of the chapter.
On Mt. Colubo, the ASL trio sits in a tree house, talking about various topics, when Garp arrives. He reveals that to inspire them to become Marines, he's decided to bring them onto his ship, and they head out to sea.
Upon reaching the ship, Garp tricks them into wearing mini versions of his uniform and dog mask, getting Attach to take a picture before they take them off. The trio then look around the ship, noticing a sleeping Kuzan and sleeping his wallet. Finally, Garp concludes their trip, launching the three boys back to Dawn Island. Sabo loses his memory from the impact, causing his two brothers to furiously slap him into he regains them.
After Garp leaves, the trio decide to hold a strategy meeting to get their revenge on Garp. They ultimately challenge him to a duel the next day, shooting a letter at his ship to inform him.
The next day, Garp arrives at Mt. Colubo at the scheduled time, only to find the three boys haven't arrived. Having overslept, they came late, eventually properly starting the "Summit War of Mt. Colubo (コルボ山 頂上戦争, Korubo-yama Chōjō Sensō?)". The duel consists of a game between Garp and the ASL trio, in which Garp has a ball on his head that the boys have to pop. Garp wins if manages to make all three of them cry before they win.
With the game started, the trio stand behind an obvious pitfall trap, attempting to bait Garp into it. He easily sees through it, though, and Luffy falls into it instead, having forgotten that they set it up. He cries from falling into the trap, and is eliminated. Garp then begins running after Ace and Sabo, throwing punches behind them. The duo separate, and Ace leads Garp into the forest, where the boys have set up more traps. However, Garp is able to handle large rocks dropped on his head and bamboo arrows, and Ace throws a smoke grenade at him to escape.
Further into the forest, Garp runs into Curly Dadan, who's tied up in a tree and shouting for help. He quickly realizes that she's helping the boys, and Dadan admits that she was tasked with getting him in the tree, though she doesn't know what they have planned. Elsewhere, as Garp thinks about what they might be planning, Sabo and Luffy use Gomu Gomu no Dairi Pistol. Right before Luffy's fist hits the ball, Garp ducks out of the way, and Ace jumps out of a trapdoor behind him and pops the ball with his iron pipe.
With his ball popped, Garp admits defeat, and brings the boys to Partys Bar, where he buys them ice cream. Despite their attempt at dissuading him, however, Garp remains resolved to train them into model Marines.
