Long Summary[]
The chapter opens with Usopp, Chopper, and Luffy introducing the concept of the chapter, explaining that the Straw Hats will meet as children in "Mysterious Park".
While running through the forest with Ace and Sabo, a young Luffy trips on a rock, falling into a bush. Sitting up, he suddenly finds himself in a small field, and wonders where his brothers went. Turning to the side, he notices a young Roronoa Zoro lifting a boulder, and copies him before introducing himself. Luffy asks Zoro where they are, but Zoro doesn't know either, and Luffy gets distracted by his swords. As he chases the other boy, Usopp suddenly falls in front of them, and the two boys question if he's a tengu or Pinocchio.
Luffy and Usopp quickly become friends, and as they dance and sing, they hear someone else fall; seeing Nami, Luffy compliments her shirt, and compliments her mother for making it, to Nami's joy. Suddenly, a young Sanji joins them, giving food to Nami and getting into an argument with Zoro; Nami then points out Chopper failing to hide behind a tree, and the boys try to hunt him. While they chase him, the children are joined by Franky and Brook. Finally calmed down, Luffy and Chopper go search for things to eat in the forest, making Sanji promise to cook for them when they return.
Elsewhere, Robin cleans the floor of Kanezenny's house. She begins to cry when a window in front of her is suddenly opened, and Luffy asks her what she's doing. He pulls her out with them, returning to the other children and introducing her as a new friend. After a short explanation on where they are, Robin begins to question if they've been pulled through some kind of temporal rip, but they tell her not to worry about it.
Moving on, Robin tells the other kids that she can't play with them, demonstrating her Devil Fruit ability and calling herself a monster. To her shock, however, they only find her abilities cool, and Luffy demonstrates his own power, causing the kids to run away from him in fear instead. After reuniting, Franky builds a large jungle gym, and the children play a variety of games. Getting tired, Robin and Nami sit and talk, watching as the boys try to go fishing with Chopper as bait.
Suddenly, Heppoko appears behind the two girls and grabs Robin. When Nami tries to fight back, she is kicked by Poppoko, and Sanji runs in to defend her; however, he is hit by Alvida's mace, and knocked to the ground. She reveals Robin's bounty, and states that she's going to claim it for herself. Luffy attempts to punch her, but his extended fist bounces off the ground and he hits himself, allowing Alvida to crush him into the ground. Her crew leave with Robin, as the children try to help Luffy.
With the pirates gone, Luffy stands back up, having survived the attack because he's made of rubber. With Nami coming up with a strategy, they follow the pirates, catching up to them in the forest. Sanji and Zoro charge into the pirates, distracting them, and the rest of the children use Luffy to launch Chopper into Alvida, knocking her down. Wanting to get back at them, Alvida throws Robin off a cliff into the ocean; however, she just before she hits the water, she is caught by Luffy stretching out his hand, and she's pulled back to shore.
Back in the field, the children eat a meal prepared by Sanji. Luffy asks if they would be willing to join his pirate crew when they're older, but is turned down by all of them, to his shock. He tries to convince them, but Robin reminds him that they're in a space-time fault and will likely forget they ever met when they return, but Luffy responds that they'll simply have to meet again. From a cliff above them, Ace and Sabo watch as they continue their meal, noting that Luffy seems to be having fun.
As it gets dark, the children remember the important people in their lives, and return to their homes, promising to see each other again in the future. Returning to Kanezenny's house, Robin continues on the cleaning, as the rest of the kids look up at the moon. Somewhere in the ocean, a young Jinbe does the same. As he eats with his two brothers, Luffy realizes he forgot to ask the other kids their names.
