While shopping, Luffy and Zoro are handcuffed together. They fight off Monet and Vergo, getting cuffed to Bartolomeo and Cavendish in the process, before recovering the key with Rebecca's help and being freed.
Long Summary[]
The chapter opens with Usopp and Chopper introducing the concept of the chapter, panicking that Luffy and Zoro went out and haven't returned.
While shopping, Luffy and Zoro ran into the Marines, and are attempting to escape them; because they were only leaving for a short time, Zoro didn't even bring his swords, and therefore can't fight properly. The pirates run into a plaza, where they find another large of group of Marines, surrounding them. While trying to escape them, the pirates bump into each other and slip on snow, discovering that they've been handcuffed together with Seastone handcuffs after recovering. As Luffy weakens from the Seastone's effects, they panic and run into each other again, before being suddenly grabbed by the handcuffs and pulled into a hiding spot.
There, they find Rebecca, who explains that she swam to the island to get their world-famous pancakes and noticed the Straw Hats running by. Learning about their handcuffs, she offers to go find the key for them, and gives them materials for a fire in the meantime, to counter the growing cold. However, they're suddenly interrupted by Monet and Vergo, who, while running into the Straw Hats by coincidence, have decided to get their revenge on them. Unable to fight while handcuffed together, the Straw Hats run away as the Donquixote Pirates duo attacks, and accidentally run off a cliff into the ocean.
After pulling themselves out, they find Bartolomeo and Cavendish near the shore, who offer to defend them from their attackers. However, they are swept up in a snowstorm by Monet, and are handcuffed to Luffy, each other, and Zoro respectively, creating a Luffy-Zoro-Cavendish-Bartolomeo circle. Misunderstanding the situation, Cavendish welcomes them to the "Beautiful Grand Fleet" (美しき大船団, Utsukushiki Dai-sendan?), to the other pirates' annoyance. Vergo then knocks down a building to crush them, but Zoro destroys it with Kusari Tatsu Maki, allowing Monet to trap them in her Kamakura Jussoshi.
From outside, Rebecca throws sugar syrup used in snow cones onto the igloo, and Luffy is able to eat his way through it, transforming into Yukidaru Luffy. However, before he can fight back, the pirates are attacked by Vergo, and are knocked to the ground, nearly defeated. In an attempt to defend them, Rebecca dons her gladiator outfit, and uses Backwater Sword Dance to get Monet over the ocean. She then jumps onto her with a flaming towel, melting part of Monet's snow and causing her to plunge into the water.
Rebecca dives in after her, pulling her up to the shore. With Monet unconscious from the sea, Rebecca is able to recover the key to the handcuffs, and rushes to undo them. She is able to free the pirates right as Vergo launches an attack, which is blocked by Bartolomeo, and as Monet attempts to attack Rebecca from behind, she is cut in half by Zoro using Durandal. Vergo then covers his body in his Armament Haki and challenges Luffy, but he is quickly defeated as well.
With everything dealt with, the two Straw Hats return to the Thousand Sunny, where they are scolded by Nami for returning empty-handed.
