One Piece Party Chapter 24 is titled "Graque", short for "Grand Line Quest" (グランド ライン クエスト, Gurando Rain Kuesuto?).

Cover Page[]

In the volume version, it depicts Nami and Robin in party outfits, with the word "PARTY" (spelled "PAAARIIIII!!") below them. This cover is part of a series of matching covers, used for all but one of One Piece Party Volume 5's chapter covers; the series can be combined into a single image, which was included, in color, on the volume's sleeve.

In the magazine version, the cover is a two-page spread of the Straw Hat Pirates in futuristic outfits. This spread was later split into two covers, used in the compiled releases of chapters 17 and 18. A color version of this spread was included on the inside of One Piece Party Volume 4's sleeve.

Short Summary[]

The Straw Hat Pirates play through a fantasy RPG story to save Princess Vivi and defeat the Great Demon King Crocodine.

The chapter is an intentional parody of the Dragon Quest franchise.

Long Summary[]

The chapter opens with Chopper introducing the concept of the chapter, explaining that Luffy will confront the Demon King in a fantasy world. He is attacked by a group of "Usoslimes" (ウッソスライム, Ussosuraimu?), who combine into the "King Usoslime" (キングウッソスライム, Kingu Ussosuraimu?).

Cobrasa (コブラス, Koburasu?), King of Arabasta, gives the level 1 Hero Apprentice (勇者見習い, Yūsha Minarai?) Luffy the quest to defeat the Great Demon King (大魔王, Dai Maō?) Crocodine (クロコダイーン, Kurokodaīn?) before he can plunge the world into chaos. As well, he captured the Princess of Arabasta, Nefertari Vivi. Chaka then directs Luffy to {{Nihongo|[[Nico Robin|Robida's|ロビーダ|Robīda}} tavern to recruit some allies.

Upon arriving at the tavern, he recruits Gaimon, and prepares to leave. However, Robida forces him to recruit other people instead, ending up with Zoro, a level 1 Warrior (戦士, Senshi?), Nami, a level 1 Sorceress (魔法使いちゃん, Mahōtsukai-chan?, lit. "Magician-chan"), Sanji, a Level 1 Pervert Martial Artist (エロ武闘家, Ero Budōka?), and Usopp, a level 1 Tsukkomi Comedian (ツッコミ芸人, Tsukkomi Geinin?). They leave to get XP and level up, encountering the Frog (フロッグ, Furoggu?) Gero Gero (ケロケロ, Gerogero?), the Baby (ベイベー, Beibē?) Bye-Bye (バイバイ, Baibai?), the Slime (スライム, Suraimu?) Sunpo (スンポー, Sunpō?), and the Panther (パンサー, Pansā?) Meriken (メリケン, Meriken?, lit. "Knuckle"), and quickly defeat them.

The team arrives at Katorea, their first village. They go to the inn and meet the innkeeper, Broon (ブルーン, Burūn?). After giving them their room, Broon offers Sanji a night of "Paf Paf" (パフパフ, Pafu Pafu?) for adults, who accepts. In a dark room, he gropes two soft balls, before Broon turns on the lights and reveals that Sanji has been groping Gaimon's cheeks.

The next morning they decide to go buy new gear, and Luffy reveals that he sent Sanji to do all the team's shopping with their Beli200,000. He returns with a "Abunai Bikini" (あぶないビキニ, Abunai Bikini?, lit. "Dangerous Bikini") (a string bikini) for Nami, who refuses to wear it, and they leave the town. Before leaving, they are directed toward Erumalu, a nearby dungeon, by Koza. They quickly get overwhelmed by the dungeon's traps, with only Luffy surviving, and Koza sends him to the the Priest (神父, Shinbu?) Frankys (フランキス, Furankisu?).

He offers to revive the team, but it will cost Luffy Beli1,000 for Zoro, Beli1,000 for Sanji, Beli900 for Nami, and Beli5 for Usopp. However, as Luffy has no money, Frankys offers to pay it all himself, and revives them, as well as giving them equipment that will allow them to avoid all the dungeon's traps.

The team returns to the dungeon, facing off against new monsters. They meets the Golem (ゴーレム, Gōremu?) Four (フォー, ?), the Old Woman (ババア, Babā?) Mogura (モグラ, Mogura?, lit. "Mole"), the Skull (ドクロ, Dokuro?) Paint (ペイント, Peinto?), the Bomb (バグダン, Bakudan?) Yoroi (ヨロイ, Yoroi?, lit. "Armor"), the Ghost (ゴースト, Gōsuto?) Kiro Kiro (キロキロ, Kiro Kiro?), the Candle (キャンドル, Kyandoru?) Death (デス, Desu?), the Demon (デーモン, Dēmon?) Supa Supa (スパスパ, Supa Supa?), and the Spike Spike (トゲトゲ, Toge Toge?) Killer (キラー, Kirā?), though the team quickly beats them. Advancing, they meet the Okama Cyclone (サイクロン, Saikuron?), who gets beaten by Nami after flashing the rest of the team while in her form. They finally reach the end of the dungeon, gaining the orb.

After training to increase their level, they approach the End of the World (最果てのこ, Saihate no Ko?) and meet the "Legendary Elder" (伝説の長老, Densetsu no Chōrō?) Grandpa Chopper (チョパジイ, Chopa-jii?). They reveal their new levels (Luffy: 78, Zoro: 75, Sanji: 75, Nami: 70, Usopp: 73) and their new classes (Luffy: Gluttonous Hero King (モリモリ食べる勇者王, Morimori Taberu Yūsha-ō?), Zoro: Three Sword Style Battle Master (三刀流バトルマスター, Santōryū Batorumasutā?), Sanji: Paladin of Women (レディのための聖騎士, Redi no Tame no Hijiri Kishi?), Nami: Beautiful Sage (美人すぎる賢者ちゃん, Bijin Sugiru Kenja-chan?), Usopp: Quickfire Tsukkomi Champion (超高速ツッコミチャンピオン, Chō Kōsoku Tsukkomi Chanpion?). Chopper reveals that the Hero must now pull the Goldy Rojan (ゴルディロジャン, Gorudi Rojan?), the sword of the greatest hero.

They notice that many Heroes have tried, and failed, to pull the Sword, including Hawkins the Magician Hero (勇者魔術士, Yūsha Majutsushi?), Drake the Dinosaur Hero (恐竜勇者, Kyōryū Yūsha?), Bonney the Eater Hero (勇者食らい, Yūsha Gurai?), Urouge the Monk Hero (勇者僧, Yūsha Sō?), Bege the Gang Hero (勇者ギャング, Yūsha Gyangu?), Law the Hero of Death (死の勇者, Shi no Yūsha?), Apoo the Longarm Hero (手長勇者, Tenaga Yūsha?), and Kid the Captain Hero (キャプテン勇者, Kyaputen Yūsha?). Luffy realizes that instead of pulling the Sword, he can just break the rock, and proceeds to break the stone using the Sacred Pickaxe (聖なる つるはし, Seinaru Tsuruhashi?). He then proceeds to the orb's podium, placing it down and summoning Pell, the Legendary Falcon (伝説のハヤブサ, Densetsu no Hayabusa?). Luffy's party climbs onto Pell's back, and he flies them to Crocodine.

Arriving at Rainbase, Crocodine's castle, Nami summons a rain cloud above Crocodine's head as a counter to his power of the Suna Suna no Mi. However, he pulls out an umbrella, blocking the water from hitting him. In retaliation, Nami summons a wet dog, and, feeling bad, Crocodine moves the umbrella to cover the dog instead, allowing himself to be hit by the rain. The team then hit him, knocking him down.

Crocodine enters his true form, a Bananawani Dragon. However, Luffy quickly dispatches of it, saving Princess Vivi and accessing a treasure chest. Upon opening the chest, however, they discover that it is actually Gaimon. Vivi returns to Alubarna Palace, and Nami asks Cobrasa for Beli1,000,000,000 as a fee for saving the Princess.
