Annoyed at the treatment he receives from the Straw Hat Pirates, Law sneaks aboard the Thousand Sunny while they're asleep and uses Shambles: Jinkaku Ishoku Shujutsu, switching their bodies. After struggling to catch him in their unusual forms, they force Law to switch them back, and switch himself with Duval in the process.
Long Summary[]
The chapter opens with Law welcoming the reader to One Piece Party and explaining that he's tired of being teased by the Straw Hats. He welcomes the reader to turn the page and see his revenge.
One night, Law sneaks aboard the Thousand Sunny. As the Straw Hats sleep across the ship, Law uses Shambles: Jinkaku Ishoku Shujutsu, randomly swapping their souls. He then steers the ship to a nearby island, where he leaves.
The next morning, the Straw Hats awake to discover their new states. After Robin deduces that Law switched their bodies, they establish who was in who's body: Luffy in Franky's, Zoro in Chopper's, Nami in Brook's, Usopp in Nami's, Sanji in Zoro's, Chopper in Robin's, Robin in Luffy's, Franky in Sanji's, and Franky in Brook's. Upon discovering the shifts, Luffy is initially excited, and wants to continue their journey without changing back. However, Nami explains that Shanks wouldn't recognize him in Franky's body, shifting Luffy's perception and causing him to want to switch back.
With that resolve in mind, the Straw Hats begin adjusting to their temporary bodies. Usopp and Chopper comment on the surprising weight of their chests, prompting Sanji to have a nosebleed and Zoro to get mad that Sanji is acting perverted in his body. Meanwhile, Franky begins designing cyborg changes he wants to make to Sanji's body, revolving around cooking functions. While initially annoyed by this, Sanji agrees once he discovers that Franky intends to add an x-ray vision function.
After more banter, they finally leave to find Law, deducing that he must be in the nearby town. However, before they can travel there, a G-5 squadron working under Yarisugi arrive at the Sunny, intent on arresting them. After confirming that they intend to fight the Straw Hats, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji engage them in combat, with Luffy particularly excited to get to use Franky's robot abilities. During the combat, Sanji remembers Zoro stating that "a wound to the back is a swordsman's shame" on the Baratie and intentionally leaves his back open, asking the Marines to target him there and prompting more arguing between the two Straw Hats. With the two pirates now distracted, the Marines are able to board the Sunny, capturing Robin (in Luffy's body) and Chopper (in Robin's body) and forcing Usopp and Brook to go on the defensive.
As the tide of battle turns in the Marines favor, Yarisugi calls in their backup, Cipher Pol agent Jerry. Upon seeing Franky, who he believes to be Sanji, Jerry explains that after his defeat against Sanji, he trained for two years on Judo Island, becoming a table tennis combat master. Despite this training, however, he is quickly defeated by Franky, and after Sanji rescues Robin and Chopper, Luffy knocks out the rest of the Marines using the General Franky.
With the combat completed, the Straw Hats travel to the town, where they find swarms of people. Deciding that they won't be able to find him in a crowd, Nami comes up with a trap to catch him. She positions a basket upright with a stick holding it up, a string tied to the stick, and commemorative coin leading into the box. Knocking that Law is an enthusiastic commemorative coin collector, the Straw Hats wait around a corner, watching as Law follows the trail of coins under the basket. Nami then pulls the string, closing the basket on top of him.
A bit later, the Straw Hats have returned to their original bodies, and have Law tied up. As punishment for switching them, Nami forces Law to spend a day in someone else's body, and makes him switch himself with Duval.
