The Ravagers are a band of intergalactic mercenaries and thieves led by Stakar Ogord. Yondu Udonta is a leader within the group and raised Peter Quill at youth as one of the Ravagers.
In 1988, Peter Quill's father sends the Ravagers to Earth to bring his son with him, but instead, their leader, Yondu decides to keep and raise as a ravager.
Twenty-six years later, the Ravagers going to Morag and there they learn that Quill betrayed them, then Yondu offers a bounty on his head.
Being in Knowhere, they find and save Quill and Gamora. Yondu and Peter makes a deal, they help them defeat Ronan and he gives them the Orb.
After the Battle of Xandar, Yondu forces Peter to hand over the Orb, while the ravagers leaving Xandar, Yondu says he's glad not to have been Peter with his father. Then, while traveling, Yondu discovers that Peter didn't give him the true Orb, but he just smiles.
After Hulk restored half of the universe's population back to life, the Ravagers joined the fight against Thanos, the Chitauri, the Outriders and the Black Order.
In one universe T'Challa was abducted by mistake when Yondu went to get Ego's child. Thanks to T'Challa's influence, Yondu's faction became Robin Hood inspired heroes, earning fame and praise across the cosmos; with the Kree Empire being their main nemesis and Ronan still out there on his own. They even prevented Drax the Destroyer from losing his family. Thanks to T'Challa using diplomacy, Thanos was talked out of his plans and joined with Nebula; T'Challa tries to get them into counseling. Korath the Pursuer also joined, being an enthusiastic fan of T'Challa.
