Avengers: Endgame
From 2018 to 2023, Okoye works in Wakanda and often has discussions with the new Avengers leader Natasha Romonoff. In 2023, Okoye is speaking with Natasha and gives her an update about how Wakanda is dealing with the snap. When Romanoff asked Okoye about the tremors they detected, she told her that it was a mild subduction under the African plate. Romanoff then asked as to how they were handling it, but Okoye assured her that due to the nature of the situation, the way they would handle it was by not handling it.
After Hulk resurrects those who were erased from Thanos' snap, Okoye is reunited with Shuri and T'Challa. Okoye joins in the Battle of Earth and later kneels before Iron Man to show respect to the fallen hero, who has given his life in order to erase Thanos once and for all.

The team travel to New Jersey where they find Vision, who reveals he has kept King T'Challa alive to feed to the Scarlet Witch. Okoye tries to save her king, but is then turned into a zombie herself by the Scarlet Witch, while T'Challa, Peter Parker and Scott Lang are able to escape Camp Leigh with the mind stone.
Another version of Okoye appears in "What If... Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark?", in a reality where Erik Killmonger kills king T'Challa and becomes the new Black Panther, whom Okoye and the Dora Milaje must serve.

In 2024, Okoye learns of king T'Challa's undisclosed illness, which unfortunately takes his life. Okoye attends her king's funeral and now serves Ramonda, the new queen of Wakanda.

The Dora displayed the apprehended mercenaries. The following day, Okoye discusses Namor to the queen at a meeting with the elders, after learning Namor met with Ramonda and Shuri. Okoye sits as M'Baku arrives and the two start insulting each other, including Okoye being called a Bald Headed Demon by M'Baku, much to Queen Ramonda's annoyance. Okoye later meets with Shuri in her lab and they are tasked to go to M.I.T to meet with Riri Williams to discuss her invention. After the FBI come to Riri's garage, she, Shuri and Okoye are forced to flee, which results in Shuri being kidnapped by Namor, who flooded a road.
The next day, Okoye informs Queen Ramonda of Shuri's disappearance and the distraught mother fires Okoye as General. Okoye tearfully begs the queen but fails to change her mind. Okoye jabs her spear into the ground and walks out. Sometime later, Okoye vows to make things right, to find Shuri and Riri, but she is stopped by Ayo. Okoye leaves and goes to Tahti to speak with Nakia, T'Challa's girlfriend. While there, Namor attacks and Okoye is able to rescue a child. When she returns to Wakanda, Okoye finds Queen Ramonda and Riri, only to find neither of them are breathing. However, Riri is saved, while Ramonda has passed away from drowning. A devastated Shuri cries for her mother and Okoye tries to keep her away.
After Queen Ramonda's funeral, Okoye speaks with M'Kathu about her role, before she leaves to speak to Shuri. Okoye finds Shuri mourning in her lab and helps her, along with Nakia and Riri, to prepare the new Heart Shaped Herb, which Shuri takes to become the new Black Panther. Following this, Okoye accepts her new title as the Midnight Angel and fights alongside the Wakandans to defeat Namor. Sometime after the battle, Okoye decides to leave Wakanda and breaks Everett Ross out of the prison van.
Okoye later followed Shuri to Tahiti, where Shuri plans to move. Okoye explains she is there to say goodbye as she wants to see her Midnight Angel armor take care of her. Okoye decides to leave but ensures Shuri that she will be there for her whenever she needs her.
