至急で、英文和訳について質問です。 ほぼ1週間後に受験なので本当に焦っています。 Hospitals proliferated in every American community after the mid nineteenth centuy. Almost all these new institutions were private, non governmental enterprises, often built on religious foundations. As the hospital idea spread, many towns and small cities supported more than one hospital. For instance, there might be a small hospital funded b y the local *Lutherans or **Presbyterians. A few blocks away, the local Roman Catholics, perhaps o f Irish or German descent, opened their own hospital. Patients were expected to pay for care if they could, but the day-to-day costs of running the hospital and paying caretakers fell on voluntary hospital supporters. I n larger cities there were public hospitals, of course, which usually depended on city or county taxes. These public hospitals were intended to care for the poor: Several hospitals endured public criticism as they struggled with the serious problem of finding caretakers for their ever growing numbers of patients. これは過去問の1部なのですが、英語を英語のまま理解することが非常に苦手で、まともな和訳ができません。 過去問はそれなりにやっているのですが全く和訳できるようになっている感じがないです。 全然受かる可能性を感じません。 辞書がないとお手上げだし、単語がわかっても単語の意味と意味を並べるだけになります。 そのため、自分の書いた日本語を自分で理解することもできません。 このような文章が大まかに何を言っているか、大意を掴むことが難しいため、合格する未来が見えません。 このような長文ともいえないような文章の和訳の手順を教えて頂きたいです。 時間がないので中学の文法からやり直した方がいいと言った類のアドバイスはご遠慮ください。 残りの1週間でなるべく合格に近づきたいだけです。
