Economy
• We need our local businesses to be successful in creating jobs and contributing back to our state. A federal flat tax would ensure equality across the board. On the state level, the tax system should be simplified and as fair as possible. Lowering taxes on small businesses and industries will increase the amount of high-paying jobs in West Virginia.
Education
• Over the years, the federal government has fought to set our state's education requirements by using Common Core. The federal government should never have more say in our school system than parents and teachers. Education requirements should be decided locally. We need educated West Virginians to succeed in higher education and our state's trade jobs.
Law Enforcement
• Every citizen deserves the right to protect themselves and others. Gun restrictions only put power in the hands of criminals and the government. However, the guilty should be punished to the full extent of the law.
