My name is Jonathan Pinson. I have the privilege of carrying many titles-

Husband, Dad, Foster Father, Christian, Pastor, Conservative to name a few.

I am 100% PRO Life I am 100% PRO Family I am 100% PRO Faith I am 100% PRO Gun

My desire is to help restore honesty and integrity into our political system!

  • We need delegates who will stand for conservative principles!
  • We need delegates who will legislate with common sense!
  • We need delegates who will labor to see our communities succeed

Pro-Faith

I have a desire to stand up for faith and families all across our community. As a citizen and as a Pastor, I cannot stand by and allow individuals to harm family values and erode religious liberties and fail to act.
Freedom to worship and freedom to teach and preach God's Holy Word without censorship from any group, party, or man made laws must always remain.

Pro-Life

I stand against abortion. I believe the unborn have the right to life. However, WV women should have access to free birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Abortion is not the answer. Our pregnancy resource centers must remain open with added locations.

Pro-Family

In May I will celebrate 10 years of marriage to my wife Amy. We have 3 biological children and are an open foster home. Currently we have a fourth child in our care whom we love dearly.

Pro- 2nd Amendment

I believe in the right to own and to bear arms for the safety of our homes, our Families and our community!

Pro Business and Economy

I am grateful for the many successful small businesses within our state. Business owners and entrepreneurs will always have my respect and support. I believe in self reliance. West Virginians are known for our work ethic. Our state and our workforce should draw businesses and corporations of every size.

I am committed to serving in our state house of delegates with honesty, commitment, and integrity!

The Douse of Delegates should serve as a representation of the people from each district in West Virginia.

I believe it is important for a political candidate to have experience in leader ship. The experience does not necessarily have to be related to government or politics.

I believe we have too many politicians in politics!

Our state is facing a family crisis! With nearly 7000 children in foster care and thousands addicted to street drugs.

We must emphasize the importance of self-reliance and family development.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in West Virginia

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
