Sylvia is the daughter of Lord Kezess Indrath and Myre. She is also the mother of Sylvie. She saved Arthur, when he was five years old[1] and entrusted Sylvie to him.[2][3]
When her second message, which was recorded inside Arthur’s core, is released right after Arthur’s core was broken, she reveals that her father Kezess Indrath and the elders of the Indrath Clan are responsible for the extermination of the Djinn race. Moreover, she also reveals Agrona’s fall from grace, when he attempted to reveal the truth that the Indrath Clan did this out of jealousy towards the Djinn’s knowledge of Aether. In her message, she also instructs and guides Arthur inside the Relictombs, as it contains Aether secrets that may help him in his quest to defeat Agrona and the loyal Vritra Clan who serve him.
Her message has a strong impact on Arthur, as it motivates him to get stronger by solving the mysteries of the Relictombs to take down both Agrona Vritra and Kezess Indrath in the future to pay them back dearly for all the misery they have caused to her and everyone else, who suffered from their actions.
Appearance[]
Dark Armor Form[]
Sylvia has petrifying red eyes and appears to be ten meters high in this form. She has two massive horns sticking out of the sides of her head, which are arching down around the skull and curving up to a point near the front. Moreover, a sleek black armor decorates her body.
Dragon Form[]
Sylvia is much larger in this form, with a pearl white coat of shimmering scales clothing her body. She has lavender eyes and golden runes that mark her neck. Furthermore, the golden runes also run down around her body and tail like a sacred engraving. Her wings are pure white, embellished with white-bladed feathers.[3]
Human Form[]
Sylvia was a woman with very light blonde hair done up in a series of braids that wrapped around her head like a crown. She was a very handsome woman with a refined, noble look, and iridescent lavender eyes.
Personality[]
Sylvia was very kind, patient and warm unlike her father Kezess Indrath and the rest of the Indrath clan who are very cruel and power hungry. She is disgusted by her clan's wrongdoings of exterminating the Djinn out of jealousy regarding their aether knowledge. She also laments the fact that she should have stopped her father when he exiled Agrona, Sylvia's husband, when he attempted to reveal the truth. This ultimately led her to rebel against her father and her clan to help Agrona. However, when she met him, she discovered Agrona's madness due to his exile as he was experimenting on and interbreeding with the lessers in Alacrya. She again rebels this time against her husband and is able to escape from Agrona, though she was mortally wounded during the escape. Afterwards, she decides to hide herself from both factions of the asura as both sides are very mad and cruel. Despite the fact that Agrona became her enemy, she feels sorry for him and everything that he went though. But she also states that this does not excuse his crimes. Sylvia like Aldir and Mordain value the life of the lesser beings and she does not look down on them as she is horrified by the horrendus actions of both asuran factions regarding lessers. In her final moments, she faces her death with dignity as she prefers to die with honour rather than siding with any of the two asuran factions.
Background[]
Sylvia is the child of Myre and Kezess Indrath and the betrothed of Agrona. At some point, Sylvia learned of the Indrath Clan’s darkest secret; the genocide of the ancient mages. The Indrath clan ordered the elimination of the ancient mages, because they feared that the aether usage of the ancient mages would undermine their authority over the other asuran clans. After Agrona was exiled to Alacrya for attempting to reveal the truth of the ancient mages' genocide, Sylvia discovered that she was pregnant and that her father was planning an assassination for Agrona. She went to Alacrya to warn Agrona, but soon found out about the horrible experiments he was doing on the lesser beings to build on the knowledge left behind by the ancient mages. Agrona imprisoned Sylvia after finding out about her pregnancy of a child carrying dragon and basilisk lineage. Sylvia gave birth during her imprisonment and stored her child in a pocket dimension to keep it safe from Agrona's experiments. She later managed to escape from Agrona, hiding in Dicathen.[4] Later, it is revealed that she escaped thanks to Ji-Ae, a Djinn remnant Agrona found during his earlier exile days. Ji-Ae is the one who exposes Agrona's plan to Sylvia, giving her the map of the relic tombs, revealed Arthur's existence to her, and his role that Fate gave him.
Sylvia was introduced after saving Arthur‘s life from falling off a cliff. She took care of him for four months. Before she pushed Arthur through the spatial gate and gave him her beast will, she asked him to call her grandmother. She also gave him her egg, which would later hatch into his bond, Sylvie, and a message that will be revealed when Arthur surpasses the white core. Later on, Arthur's white mana core broke, revealing Sylvia's message, which includes information about the Indrath Clan's darkest secret and Agrona's past.
Relationships[]
Arthur Leywin[]
Sylvia saved Arthur from falling to death. She took care of Arthur for four months, and in those months, they had a close relationship with each other as she taught him the mana rotation technique and encouraged him to let go of his lust for revenge. When Cadell found her, she helped Arthur to escape, but not before giving him her daughter Sylvie and her will. In her first message she revealed that she knew about his first life. Moreover, she also told him not to be sad about her demise or try to avenge her and urged him instead to look after his family and loved ones. In her second message to Arthur, she reveals that her father Kezess Indrath is the reason for Agrona's madness and many other tragedies that occurred in this world. As a result, Arthur swears to make Kezess pay for his crimes dearly for everything that he did.
Kezess Indrath[]
Sylvia hates her father for the genocide he committed together with the other elders of the Indrath clan against the Djinn regarding their aether knowledge. She also hates him for ruining Agrona's life when he attempted to reveal the truth about the Indrath clan wrongdoings. Her father's wrongdoings led her to conceal herself away from him when she escaped from Agrona and to entrust her daughter and will to Arthur away from him.
Agrona Vritra[]
Sylvia loved her husband dearly as she described him as a charming and coy knowledge seeker. She sided with him when he is banished, but was horrifed by his madness and his despicable actions against the lessers of Alacrya. Even after he went mad, she regretted allowing her family to destroy his life, but stated that this does not justify his actions. His cruel actions led to both of them becoming enemies as she escaped from him. She kept Arthur away from him and gave her daughter to Arthur, before helping him to escape to safety when Cadell found her.
Abilities & Skills[]
As a dragon, Sylvia can control Aether, belonging to the spatium genus (authority over space)[5]. In addition, she is also capable of some aevum aether arts (control over time) like her father.
Mana Rotation: This ability allows the user to continuously absorb mana from the environment while moving or fighting.
Pure Mana Manipulation: Sylvia as a dragon can manipulate pure mana into different shapes, projectiles, weapons, and barriers.
Static Void: It permits the user to use the aether around them to freeze time for everything; however, this does not apply to anyone who can use aether in the same way as them. She can't interact with frozen people or items while Static Void is active, and the mana particles in the atomsphere are likewise frozen.
Realmheart Physique: This ability gives the user the power to perceive mana and aether, allowing her to better use mana and acquire insight on Aether. In this form, Sylvia also has the ability to negate spells, to reverse regeneration, to fold space, to establish spatial gates and to create pocket dimensions.
Her Realmheart powers are based off of what Arthur used during his battle with Elijah and Cadell.
Flight: She can fly
Quotes[]

- (To Arthur) "Kukuku... Very well child, I will call you Art!"[3]
- (To Arthur Leywin) "Do not trust his honey-coated words. It will be worse off for you if you are found right now. As for me, I would rather die than go back to where he is."[3]
- (To Arthur) "Thank you my child."[3]
- (To Arthur Leywin) "My biggest regret was allowing my family to completely destroy the life of my betrothed... and my unborn child's father."[4]
- (To Arthur Leywin) "What I am leaving you with is not some grand quest; that was never my intention. But if you are in a situation where you are lost or feel weak and outnumbered, perhaps the answer Agrona is looking for is the answer you are as well."[4]
- (To Arthur Leywin) "Take care of my daughter and yourself. Goodbye little one."[4]
