Pronoun Trouble

For May 15th:

I took Chester out on a walk at one of the local parks; there were some other people (and dogs) there, but despite Chester's urging, we didn't get within six feet of any of them.

Dad (and possibly Mom?) went out to the not-quite-local bulk food store, where Dad picked me up 5lbs each rye flour and AP flour, and a local grocery store.

Pretty sure at this point I'm going to make a separate, private community to start tracking my own health stuff. It'd be a good habit to get into, and I won't clutter things up over here quite so much.

Just the usual for me today.

For May 11th: Just the usual for me. Mom went out to one store or another to pick up dog food for Chester, and two people in the area got fresh bread by yours truly. (One of the two loaves we kept is not baked all the way through; I'll have to dig around for a thermometer, since I can't find mine, and/or buy a new one the next time I'm at the store.)

For May 9th:

Just the usual for me.

Just the usual for me today. Mom and Dad's anniversary, so Dad ordered takeout from a little hole-in-the-wall Mexican place that serves very authentic stuff; he forgot his mask, and the folks he picked the food up from reportedly didn't have any, so that. That's a thing.

I did just pick up a whole bunch of mask-making elastics, and am planning to make more than a few; should I ask Dad to drop some off for them, maybe? Hmm. In addition to just not wanting anyone to get sick, it is staffed entirely by probably first- and second-generation Mexican immigrants (from my understanding), and I know that police are racist shitheels who don't need an excuse... I might ask Dad about it when I get some more masks made.

Giving more thought to making a side-journal (personal community, maybe?) for these, or locking-and-filtering them; currently undecided.

I took two Pokémon drives instead of one, mostly trying to finish some new research.

Mom took Chester to the dog park, where she reports there were a lot of dogs.

My brother and his wife ordered too much sushi for dinner, and he drove over and dropped the leftovers off for me. Chester was very disappointed that he didn't come inside, but: safety. Chester was also disappointed that he didn't get any of whatever it was that was in those styrofoam containers Tomas dropped off; he's absolutely certain it's delicious (yes) and also safe for dogs to eat (not risking it)!

Today I took Chester out for an hour-long walk at the river landing. We saw one other dog walker there, but only from a distance, and that was it for people. I saw a few other people on the way to my car, since there's construction going on at the end of the street I live on, and we're only about four houses in, but we managed to keep good distance there, as well.

Just the usual for me today.

Dad went out to at least one grocery store and then to either a pet store or a bait store; money's on the latter. Either way, there are now some comet goldfish in our small backyard pond again.

Mom took Chester out walking, but not to any dog parks, I think.

For today! I was baaaaad today 😔 I went out to Walgreens, CVS, and the grocery store in search of flushable wipes. I eventually found a decent amount them at the grocery store, as opposed to the pocket packs I found at Walgreens (and empty shelves at CVS), but I still feel bad for visiting three different places. I wore a mask the whole time and washed my hands before I left the house, and did as little direct contact as possible, and ALL the workers at both CVS and the grocery store had masks(!!!) (and possibly at Walgreens as well?), so that's something, but still. Stupid pandemic. Stupid pandemic paranoia and guilt.

I also bought a couple of things at both the drug stores, since I felt bad just going in and not getting anything. At Walgreens I got the aforementioned pocket packs, plus some toilet paper (I'm not running terribly low, but they had some, and I figured, why not) and 70% off Easter candy; at CVS I got a deer antler for Chester to chew on. And at the grocery store I got some sushi, because sushi, and also it was Buy 2, Get 1.

Mom and Dad went to Menard's, Orscheln, and the Dairy Queen drive-through. Dunno what the first two involved, aside from a dog toy for Chester at the second, but the third was strictly food related, I'm sure.
