Technology Issues

My laptop is giving me some minor issues; it's been losing internet connection reliably, usually within an hour of me starting up, and the only solution I've found so far is to restart it completely.
This has prompted me to look up exactly when I originally got my current laptop, and the answer is May, 2019. I've had this laptop for five-and-a-half years, and this is the first time it's given me any problems that have made me consider replacing it.
I'd say that's a damn good run!
(It's also right on time for me to make a birthday and/or Xmas request 👀 I may bring this up with my parents...)

Date: 2024-11-20 11:45 pm (UTC)Current laptop is a Dell running Windows 10. I'm used to Windows at this point, but Microsoft is going to end support for Windows 10 next October, so I may be looking into installing Linux instead, IDK.

Goodwill Reboot is a brilliant idea! I wish we had a similar program here in Madison but I sure haven't found one yet.
