Dark Side of the Ring Season 4 Episode 10. Marty Janettey
I loved hearing about Marty, I didn't realize he was as delusional as he was. Even as someone who isn't the world's biggest Shawn Michaels fan, the difference in their charisma and ring ability is undeniable. And while MArty was a fine wrestler, especially in the new era generation competing against Bret and Owen Hart, Undertaker, and HBK himself, MArty was never gonna be a main event star.
But it's God's fault right?
He calls himself God's Amusement Toy, when God gets bored he fucked over MJ. Not your rampant drug use that got you fired right after the rocker's reunion, nope, God did it. And it was God's fault you didn't care for your rolled ankle.
His friend Nancy told us that you could only believe about 10% of what Marty said. Then we cut to him telling us about how he was so hot all the hookers would give him freebies.
Nothing really interesting until we get to his social media stuff. Like the post he said he didn't make about finding out his daughter was not his biological kid and now they can fuck (He claims that was a hack) or about how he made someone disappear 30 years ago after they tried to rape him.
Which was a joke you guys, no need for the cops to open an investigation. And totally didn't happen, but if it did...
And I brought up the Nancy lady who was his St. Louis girlfriend for years because she said that 90% of everything Janettey said was a lie, and that the story of him killing an attempted rapist is 100% true. Al Snow said it, everyone says it happened.
This season was sadly just a lot of "This person was really popular what happened? Drugs" Hopefully Season 5 is a little more interesting
