Hey everybody. I want to do some brief scheduling things here and a few brief notices.

If I'm around a little less for a while, don't worry about me. I'm okay. I'm working on four big projects right now that I will be releasing on here (I'll say what they are in a bit), and I'm giving myself some time to work on those. I won't be gone completely, I'll just be around a little less.

A quick question to everybody: What do you guys think of the reviews I have simply titled "The Long"? These are the multi-page reviews and analyses of films that I usually don't like. The two most recent ones, and the ones that most fit the style I'm talking about, are the Don't Look Up review and the Reminiscence review. I want to know what you guys think of these. While I do like them, they are pretty time-consuming, so I want to know if you guys want to see more of those or not. If you don't like them, I will do less of them. If you enjoy them, I will do about the same rate I am doing, which is essentially covering whatever I feel deserves it the most. If you have any suggestions on how to improve "The Long", please let me know, as that helps me tremendously. An important disclaimer on this is that an audience leaning one way will not erase the other possibility. If people say they don't like The Long, The Long will not go away forever. If people say they do like it, The Long won't be the only thing I do, as I don't always have that kind of energy. While I do want to write things that I am happy with, I also want the people that read these to have a good time reading them, so it really helps me out to know what you guys think.

A perfect example of a possible future Long review is Uncharted from earlier this year. I have some things to say. I have also wanted to talk about video game movies and game movies for a while, so that would give me an excuse to do that. If that is something you are interested in, would you let me know?

That kind of leads into the next thing. I have several big projects lined up that I want to talk about. These are the big reason I might be a bit diminished in my appearances. I am going to start doing paper-like things that I will put out on here. My goal is to put out one every month or so for a while. So here is the lineup you can expect. There are no dates tied to these and I am putting them in here in no particular order, so this isn't a chronological schedule, more just a list of what I'm working on.

Project One: Disney and the Effects of It's Characters and Storytelling
This is a write-up of a bunch of the effects Disney has had on modern film and modern culture, as well as some of the possible dangers of its characters.

Project Two: A Really, Really, Really Long Thing On Bond
Back in October, I promised a review of No Time To Die. Much like Don't Look Up, I kind of went off the deep end. I have a lot to talk about with that movie, but I also want to talk about Bond as a whole, where it started, where it is, and where I think it might be going.

Project Three: An Analysis of the Old Film Landscape of The Fifties and Sixties and How Trends Came and Went

Project Four: Comparing Reboots to the Originals

I have a few more down the pipeline, but these are the ones I am going to share for now.
