Anyways I'm writing this as a way to express my rage because I only told 3 people and I need to talk more about it to somebody. And since y'all don't know me in person I think that that perfectly works.

In the future I will use this as my story-time where Imma tell something incredibly cool that happened or also something particularly memorable. Anyways I absolutely catastrophically fumbled the girl of my dreams. I absolutely bottled. Wasted down the drain.

So there's a city festival every 4 years in our city, where there are different food stalls, a few small performances by smaller artists and much more. I had planned to go there with a bunch of friends of mine. So far so good. I prepared myself, brushed my teeth after lunch and left home. After about 5-10 minutes I'd already arrived and I checked my text messages only to see, that my guys had cancelled the plans. I was kinda pissed, but I didn't want to go home , because that was the last weekend of summer vacation for me and the weather was beautiful, so I decided, to just kind of check out what was going on for a bit. Two other friends of mine were going to arrive at 9pm and it was 3.30 pm so I had plenty of time. I originally was going to return home, but I elongated my stroll to enjoy nature, the city and lake (such a beautiful place where I live) at its fullest. I returned to the place I was before about 2 and a half hours later at 6 pm. I bought a hot dog to eat, sat on a bench near the lake and watched the Military Jets perform their tricks over the lake, just like every time this festival takes place. After that, I stood up and decided to go on Letterboxd. I was so incredibly focused on it, that I forgot to watch around me and that's when me and a girl walked right into each other. I would be lying if I said I wasn't embarassed, but she seemed to be even more embarassed. She was Asian, probably Southeastern, and she had black semi-curly hair. She was slightly shorter, but probably around the same age as me. She was SOOO pretty (that's not the important part tho, we'll get right to it.) We both apologised to each other awkwardly and then I saw that she had Letterboxd opened and that was probably the reason we crashed into each other. She suddenly also saw I had Letterboxd opened and her face instantly changed and almost started glowing when she saw that. I was still kind of confused from the day and without thinking much of it, I turned around, exactly when she was about to say something. I walked about 10 metres until I stopped and realised what was actually going on. Based on how happy she was realising I also had Letterboxd, she was probably a movie junkie who loves watching movies and has the same passion as I do. I can tell with certainty she was about to ask for my Letterboxd or atleast say something like "Oh, you have Letterboxd too?" Realising what I had just done I turned around and saw her back dissappearing amongst the crowd. I don't even know her Letterboxd. I don't even know her phone number. I don't even know her Letterboxd. I didn't even get to ask her her goddamn name. I KNEW SHE HAD CINEMA AS HER PASSION JUST LIKE I DO AND I PULLED A RYAN GOSLING THINKING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. WHY DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO MESS THINGS UP. EVERY INCONVENIENCE THAT DAY LED TO THAT MOMENT, LIKE I WAS IN A MOVIE AND I DID NOTHING. THIS WAS 100% LIKE A MOVIE EXCEPT I AM A FUCKING IDIOT. WHY. WHY. WHY DID I HAVE TO WALK AWAY. SHE WA STHE ONE 10000037278% AND I DID NOTHING.

Anyways now school has started and I hate it and that's it I guess, don't mess up at finding a partner like I did idk.
