Hello friends! 

So, I came up with a horror film challenge I’m going to try to do this October, and wanted to see if there was any interest from others in participating! 

Basically, I came up with 31 horror themes with 20 movies each. Each day of the month I (and possibly you?) will pick a movie from the 20 to watch and review. I think it would be fun to have a bunch of people watching and reviewing the same/similar movies so we can see what each other thought. So it’s a bit different from challenges that give you a theme but you have to find the film. 

I tried to come up with a wide variety of movies for each day - staples, newer movies, older movies, hidden gems, silly stuff (for those who don’t like to be scared), etc. I tried to find a least a couple movies for each category that that not many people had seen. There are a few of you that have seen everything, but I tried! 😆

If you’re interested, please let me know by “hearting” this post. I’m thinking October, but since there are other horror challenges then, maybe doing a “Halloween in July” would be better? Comment and let me know which you’d prefer, if you feel inclined to do so!

I’ll probably switch it back to private tomorrow. But I wanted to see if there’s interest, because if others want to participate I’ll probably do a separate list for each day too, since the one with all the films is a little overwhelming.

And yes, I’ve had a little too much time on my hands lately 😅 And I know October is forever away, but I’m still excited for it. I’ll be trying to watch a bunch of the films on the list that I haven’t seen yet (that I added based on reviews, etc.), so may end up switching some out for other films between now and October (or July).
