Paint Drying

Hello and Welcome fellow Children of Chaos.

Elimination Chamber 2024. This was an ok PPV. A number of booking misteps kind of hurt what should have been a solid PPV.

First of all the Women Chamber match where Cody Rhodes was screwed again and should have been in it instead of Tiffany Stratton. They fucked him again, sick and tired of him not being able to finish all the stories ever!

For real, this was the best match of the night. I think it was booked well, and while she didn't win Tiffy Time did get a nice rub and a solid showing. I am shocked Naomi/Trinity was the first out, thought she'd still be riding the return high, but no. Also considering the division I think Becky vs. Rhea is a solid match for WM, and nice simple match that does not need a massive amount of build to be good. A simple good vs. evil match, with two established stars. The match itself was great. And the Joshi just keep outperforming the men.

The Tag Team Title match. Honestly kind of a waste of time. Who thought the New Catch Order or whatever the fuck they call themselves was going to overtake Judgement Day? On a card with only 4 matches this was a waste of time. Not a bad match, but like nothing came of it, and it went nowhere. We could have had a world title match, an IC title match. But instead we got this throwaway match. a 7 match card, this would have been fine, as it. A waste.

The Men's EC match. Bobby Lashley? Like you're not a good wrestler but are you really THIS bad. So the whole idea is that Final Testament injured his arm. So not only does it just not make sense. But it makes Final Testament look weak. And like I know we gotta protect "All Mighty" because that is just how these MMA monsters are supposed to be booked as like super awesome and such, because if they are booked like a wrestler a bunch of meatheads will cry about how it discredits shoot fighting. He comes in and hits lariats and elbow smashes with his hurt and and does not even to the basic rub it like he's fighting through the pain. His arm is taped up sure, but like it just looks stylized arm tape rather than an injury. The one good thing is how Logan Paul was running his mouth while inside the pod, but the moment it came down to being face to face with Steen suddenly that bravado was gone. Also I loved watching Steen body Paul against the pod doors though why was it Lashley who sent him through the pod? It should have been Steen. Oh then lashley FINALLY sold his arm injury. Also why did Logan Paul hit Orton with the knucks? Like I get that Orton eliminated him but like, all it does it make another person after him and Paul, well you can tell this brainless toad has too much booking power because he is so inconsistent and booked so bad.

AJ was a nice surprise but also felt really out of nowhere.

The Woman's title match used the good old fashioned Hogan Andre formula. The powerhouse is met by their match and has to change strategy. And even denied the riptide twice, like I predicted. I predicted the riptide would be denied twice and finally get a desperate final one for the end. It's a simple but effective formula.

Can someone please just break Logan Paul's neck and end his fucking wrestling career please?
