Paint Drying

A pros and cons just doesn't work for a month-long vacation. So im going to write out... everything of importance that happened. Fuck you if you don't read it. And fuck you even more if you pretend to read it, like the review, and then don't read it. This'll probably be long.

I started off by going to New York. In New York a bird shitted on me. It got in my ear. Then I went to Joe's Pizza, the place in Spiderman with the pizza. It was much much smaller in person. It's not even a big place In Spiderman. Just smaller in person. Then some of my friends flew out to see us. It was cool until two of them (the parent and one kid) got covid. Me and my family (and the one kid that was still healthy) started to freak out, and just decided to fly out to Seattle as quick as possible. Like literally as quick as possible. I got a text from my mother saying "flight is in 3 hours. Get packed." which I'm sure you can imagine, in a New York airport, was not the time of my life. Overall my 2 days that was supposed to be a week in New York gets a 6/10

Then we went to Seattle, where we mainly quarantined for quite some time. At least a few days, just in case. During this time I watched Friends. A lot. A whole lot of Friends. I kinda wish I finished friends while in New York, but without friends I would've had literally nothing to do for like 4 days. It's all I did. Also a 6/10 because I did nothing and didn't get bird shit on me.

Then, the first day I stopped quarantining, I went out to meet my best friend in person for the first time in 3 years. Which was absolutely fantastic. She has a bus card so we just took each other to our favorite places in Seattle. We went to my view spot, which is amazing. We stood leaning on the rail for like, 10 minutes, just looking out at the view. It was silent. I could've heard her thoughts if she had any. We also went to the best outdoor shopping mall, bought me a skirt, which because I lost a bet, I had to wear for the rest of the day. At the mall we bumped into one of my old best friends and one of her new best friends, so we got shake shack with him, which was surreal. 10/10 easy

Then I went to the sleepover that I talked about in my Sinister review. Here are some highlights:
Meeting these people again for the first time in 3 years
Going out with a friend at a beach club asking every girl older than 12 and younger than 15 if she'll date our other friend. None said yes, but one of them said her sister might, and then the sister said no. So theres's a chance!
Going bowling and go-karting and getting last in, 100% seriously, every single round in both games.
Watching horror movies with the squad.
Playing super smash bros and winning once against a bunch of sweats.
I tried wakesurfing, which I failed miserably at. But I tried.
Admitting to them that I have a fear of water, which is 100% true. They didn't believe it and pressured me into going on the high dive, which I refused to. Thank god.
But by far the best part of the sleepover was talking to my other best friend till 4 am about his breakup, and for like 5 minutes about mine (he somehow talks more than me??) but it was really nice and cemented him as like one of the best friends I could ever ask for. He's a cool guy, one that you wouldn't expect to be vulnerable. How we became friends, I honestly don't remember the whole story, but it's very complicated, but I'm glad we did
Also obviously 10/10

Then I went to live on a farm for a week because my mother had concerts to play. I learned to drive, which was really cool, #breakingstereotypes. I got to perform in a skit before the concert in which I played "a tall handsome waiter with a seductive smile" which as a 14 year old 5'2 Asian boy, was quite the experience. I worked at the barn every day for 2 hours, split in the morning and the night. I got 11 hours of service hours, which was nice. I had to pick up horse food, which strangely enough wasn't the most disgusting part of the Barn experience. The most disgusting part, was the baby formula. I had to give baby formula to a baby lamb, and I fucking hate baby formula its terrifying. And maybe it's because the cap on the bottle was called a nipple, so I had to make an effort to not sexualize this bottle, maybe it's just because it's always disgusted me, but that was like... not it. I also didn't have wifi which sucked. I saw a chicken rape a duck, which will come in handy when anybody asks me if I've ever seen a chicken rape a duck. But that wasn't a great experience because I have a deathly fear of geese and ducks are basically the same thing but scarier and I got within 2 feet of one. (You can tell I have fears of a lot of things but if you ask me about them I'll probably have an insane story about how it sparked.) I got to read a lot which was fun. The adults called me mature, who are officially the first people to ever say that! But some of the people that also played concerts at the barn had good movie taste and one of them had eternal sunshine as their favorite movie which was really cool and then we talked a lot about tv shows because of all the tv show shirts I had. My mental health did get much worse because of how little social interaction I had, plus because I had no wifi the only things I could do was listen to pre-downloaded music or read through old texts which uh... is not healthy. Overall an 8/10.

The time I spent with my friends and talked about in the Bobs Burgers review was nice. We walked around a park, got burgers, and went on the swings. One of them called me bad at swinging so I ran around throwing wood chips at him, and I definitely hit a few children accidentally. So yeah. It was just like when we were 5. 8/10

Theres this friend who I've always hated but my parents made me hang out with him twice on my trip and both times he Brought up bad things about the two friends I just talked about, which made me extremely uncomfortable but I couldn't yell at him because that'd be impolite or something. He's a terrible person and for some reason thinks that even though we haven't talked once over the year that we're still friends. He hasn't changed at all in the funniest way possible, he reads the same books, watches the same movies and shows, listens to the same music. His personality hasn't changed much either but that's just unfixable lol. 0/10.

Anyway, I'm home now, and I wrote A LOT. So uh, I'll see you in the next review, which should be coming out... in a few hours. 😳.

Oh also the score was I believe 48/70, or 24/35, which sounds about right.
