Devils or Demons (
Appearance[]
Like some members of the Demon Tribe, the Devil Tribe members looks like regular human beings with some demonic traits, like horns and bat wings on their backs. However, unlike the demons, the members of this tribe do possess gender and a lifespan (although they can live for hundred of years). It also seems that holy magic don't affect them.
According to Serena, like the Belzerg Royal Family and the reincarnted japanese, the devil tribe also inherited cheat skills similar to the last.[1] Also, the current Devil King does possess a japanese name, although he doesn't seem to know about Japan.[2]
History[]
There is a ancient legend about a solitary hero (implied to be a reincanated japanese) who defeated the previous Devil King, taking his place afterwards. For one reason, now lost to time,[3] the Devil King live in a war against humanity, although it is suggested through the series they might be acting in self defense/getting revenge against the Axis Order and the Crimson Demons.
Devil King[]
The leader of the devilkind. According to Vanir, in order to someone take the Devil King role, they must have charisma enough to attract distinctive generals to their army, power enough to keep their subordinates in line and a fair degree of intelligence. The charisma, however, is the most important thing.[4]
Although the reason why the Devil Kings attack the humanity is unknown, it is part of their job be defeated by the Hero at some point.

- It is unknown if the Devil Tribe is related to the Devil Realm (魔界, Makai), from which the Devil Castle Gatekeeper draws his power.
- In Natsume Akatsuki's manga Kemono Michi, Devils are beings transformed by the mana in the Devil Realm.
