Now It's Con is the 4th episode in season 3 of Harvey Street Kids.
Synopsis[]
The kids divide into groups to enjoy various activities provided by the Glendale' Horn-A-Corns convention.
Plot[]
Situated close to the night, on the same day as the previous episode. The episode begins with the Harvey Girls (Cosplaying as the main Horn-A-Corns), Lucretia (Disguised as a little-known compound unicorn), Richie Rich (As Wealthy Wallaby) and Tinaceous T. Tonner (As Little lad) simulating the introduction of the Horn-A-Corns while outside the Glendale, California convention center. The kids come in and find several stands offering different products and services including a karaoke along with watching the old comic incarnations of the Horn-A-Corns. After a conversation between Richie and Tiny, Lucretia looks at the schedule and wonders how everyone will attend those events.
After Audrey said that Dot already has a plan, with Lucretia trying to guess what they will do. Lotta tells her what they will divide into groups inside the convention. Lotta will go for an exclusive Horn-A-Corns body cushions, Audrey will go to ask the Horns' creator with a question and answer session by the fans. Specifically asking her what the Horns they saw inside the magic horn of plenty in the first episode, which made them learn to form an everlasting friendship. For her part, Dot will go to a trivia section to win a place in a motion capture session for an upcoming episode of the series, an opportunity that according to her occurs once in life, hoping that her actions become canonical.
Lucretia then decides which Harvey Girl to go with, which costs her initially and chooses Dot. For his part, Tiny will go to see the new horn's movie where Little Lad will be included in its cinematic universe, and Richie decides to follow him. After deciding what to do, Audrey proposes to reunite in two hours in Dot's trivia room. It is here at this point that the episode is divided into several subplots.
Dot and Lucretia[]
In the E Hall, both girls arrive on set and go to the podium to answer questions with Dot being excited as she feels she knows all the answers. At the scene, they meet Rhinina, a disguised temperamental girl who is in charge of asking the questions. In the first question, Lucretia responds well and quickly before Dot to what she assumes she did in an attempt to be like her by adapting to what Harvey girls like. Lucretia also answers the second question well, to which she is excited saying that she has something in common with a Harvey girl.
After 3 good questions answered off-camera, she assured them 12 out of 25 questions, based on all contestants' scores. When Rhinina asks "How many episodes does the animated series have?", Dot interrupts Lucretia holding her arm, with the last one gives her the chance to answer. Dot answers the question wrong and they lose 50 points, because she did not count a banned episode.
Audrey and Lotta[]
In the R Hall, Audrey wants to seek the attention of the creator Chloe Claireson, but she has no chance. Lotta goes in her meeting with the pillows, where she says that her process was simple because she did not know that the other fans did not show interest in knowing that loading such a heavy merchandise would hinder her movement during the convention.
During a question, Audrey interrupts the creator by taking the stick she used to ask her fans. For her part, Audrey was too specific, to what the creator only limited to saying "no" in response. Chloe, for her part, leaves saying that she is going to the convention and then going to her office to see the new plot arc of the series based on space. Audrey not satisfied with it, wants to reach Chloe even with a net if necessary.
Leaving the room, Audrey is prompted by Lotta. Where during the chase, Audrey ruins a girl's DDR game score, which Lotta helps correcting. Audrey runs into a possible Diaper Ducky cosplayer who blocks her path. As she gets closer to the creator, more fans hinder Audrey's path to reach her for no apparent reason and eventually passively-aggressive block her path. Audrey using the motto of her favorite character Pegtor, tries to try again because she believes that she will be the only one who contributed nothing to this convention.
At some point, they run into the other groups. Audrey subsequently destroys a group of horns from a fan who was planning to sell them, so the tumult against her grows along with the meeting with Dot is on 5 minutes. Audrey proposes to Lotta to throw her again using the Corns shot technique, where she tackles Todd dressed as Chloe, who tells her that dressing up as Chloe is in fashion this year. Audrey proposes to remove the wigs of the fans who disguised themselves as Chloe, in an attempt to search for the real one, however, this causes people's discontent to increase and therefore Audrey gets more adversaries. Before she can even say anything to defend herself, the tumult surrounds her and the screen goes black with Audrey screaming.
Richie and Tiny[]
Richie tries to find a common conversation with Tiny, to which they initially have nothing or have not previously seen in social gatherings on the street. Upon encountering a huge line, Richie tries to skip it, saying he had VIP tickets, but a somewhat curmudgeon security guard blocks their way. Despite telling her that he owns the Horn-A-Corns franchise, he still fails to convince her. Tiny after taking him away, possibly to avoid conflict, tries to give him some tips to pass the time, such as: Staying distracted with things talking about the comic he likes and telling him to let his imagination run wild.
After waiting for a long time, Tiny is bored and admits that those tricks were false in an attempt to impress him, with Richie admitting the same thing to him along with telling him the good things the Harvey girls have said about him. In an attempt not to get bored, Richie sends his robots to bring some food to themselves. With the line already more advanced and about to enter, the last one sees that Richie, produced the film despite not knowing it, so they both want to go see it. At this point of the episode, both of them stop appearing.
Epilogue[]
After answering enough questions that leaves them tied with a second group. Lucretia and Dot agree that both press the button together to answer the tiebreaker question, which is to name all the characters in the known universe of the series. The girls do it with a song that ends up being correct. Lotta arrives and Dot admits that 99.2% of the questions were answered by Lucretia. Dot asks about Audrey, who is seen kicked out by the curmudgeon guard for "wig assault." Despite this, Audrey tells her that she has to know the secret to return to her friends.
Audrey speaks with her conscience manifested on her Pegtor doll, where she is honest in that looking for the secret took her away from her friends and annoyed some fans. Unable to do anything, Audrey runs out of anger and starts crying.
In the motion capture room, Dot asks for Audrey saying that the animators' schedules are strict, and they hear Audrey crying from a distance. Rhinina threatens them to return her non-canonical appearance if they retreat, to which the girls tell them that they don't care. The girls go out, meet Audrey and hug her, where they tell her that they will always be with her, including Lucretia, who admits that despite being treated as the "third wheel" of the group, she will continue trying to get together with the girls.
Chloe Claireson, arrives on the scene disguised as Narwhalla, where she admits that she does Cosplay so as not to be caught by the obsessive, telling what people are capable to do in an attempt to find her. Chloe then reveals the secret which was a golden taco with guacamole when she wrote the script, since she was hungry. And when she saw said display of friendship from the girls, she asks Audrey what she saw. Which she, Dot and Lotta respond respectively: Loyalty, sharing and hugs.
For her part, Audrey, after deducing that fans can answer their own questions, tries to corroborate with Chloe her theory of why the parents of the Horn-A-Corns are not present. Chloe responds by saying goodbye and running away using propellers under her feet provided by her costume. The girls watch what happened with Chloe breaking the fourth wall writing "The End" in the sky. During the credits, it can be heard the song that Lucretia and Dot sang in a duet about the Horn-A-Corns' members.
