Planet of the Capes is the first segment of 8th episode in season 3 of Harvey Street Kids.
Synopsis[]
Fredo with the help of Richie Rich, wants to make a better movie than the romantic comedy that he and the other kids on the block were watching.
Plot[]

Fredo throwing some rubber ducks while mocking the movie "Kitty in Pink"
The episode begins with a movie (Kitty in Pink) where a teenage woman named Kitty tries to solve a love triangle with the Pythagorean Theorem, whose theatrical function was broadcast on the platform of the sky mansion at night. Fredo appears among viewers, making an ironic comment on the film's loopholes. Lotta interrupts him, but Fredo continues to mock it, where he throws some rubber ducks at the screen pretending that they are part of the ducks in the film pretending to migrate out of this film, with Dot also mocking what happened.
Lotta tells him that people were working on the film to which Fredo replies ironically, causing her to crush a popcorn package while saying not to criticize it. Fredo tells her that the movie deserves it, for being a bad one. Lotta tells him to make a movie instead of criticizing this one, however, Fredo says his ideas are too cool to be captured on camera, where he imagines himself receiving an award by the villain from "Striking Danger", Vlad Villainski. Richie, apparently seeing the vision wants to make it a reality. Lotta tells him that she did not want to challenge him and just wanted to say something to shut him up, where she wishes Fredo good luck.
For his part, Fredo says that he does not need luck and that he is an expert on the subject. While that happens, the protagonist of Kitty in Pink chooses the rich man of Hispanic ethnicity over the man with glasses with a comical personality, where the first ride a bicycle and the last falls into the lake when the bicycle threw mud at him while accelerating. Lotta, being misplaced at the end, wants to see it again. Where Richie, Fredo gives him a script of his work called Moon Warrior Parallax, which consists of a boy with three buttocks defeating a space chancellor of evil, he also refuses to shorten his script because he says that the whole plot is essential.
After offering him a location to film anywhere in the world because of the sky mansion, Fredo asks for a green screen where Richie shows him one that can simulate anything. Regarding his film crew, Fredo chooses his friends: Melvin, Pinkeye alongside Audrey and Dot and a robot from Ricky saying he doesn't need an experienced film crew, with Melvin focusing on Pinkye's nose denoting hazing. Fredo also hires two actors, Vlad from "Striking Danger" and the teen protagonist of Kitty in Pink. Richie asks if he needs more characters, to which Fredo says he can do the rest of the characters on his own.
Vlad's actor tells him that he can make various types of villains, where Fredo agrees to make one of a kind that redefines the transcendent, where he is hired. Fredo also refuses to do rehearsals and shot tests, saying that cowards do it. On stage, they start filming the movie where he tells Pinkeye to imagine the story he gave his character after kicking in the air a bit. Audrey meanwhile explodes everything on the green screen as a way to have fun, where the planet where the film is centered explodes and Fredo tells her to leave it at that. In the following scene, the Kitty actress plays an alien speaking in an alien language, where Richie comments to Fredo that this part of the script is confusing, since it is written with symbols. Fredo refuses to admit this defect and decides to fire her, just to hire Dot who was the costume girl at that moment. Dot puts on the suit and starts acting. On stage Dot speaks like an alien while Fredo cries, ending the recording. Richie also mentions to him that he has spent too much, with Richie pointing at a cake with gold icing.

Fredo is notoriously nervous because his film is categorized as a comedy, a genre that he doesn't want to do in the first place.
The scene changes to opening night, where Vlad is present next to a billboard and some kids take pictures. Fredo appears saying that this film will make the kids question even their reality. The credits appear, with Fredo taking center stage and trusting himself so much that he retires and goes to the mansion' living room using a platform elevator, thinking of some outfit for his nomination for the Golden Globes. To his horror, he hears some laughter from the stage, first, he believes it was because of the tragic story of the protagonist that caused his third buttock. But listening to them with more intensity, he gets more nervous about it, especially when the Harvey Girls and Richie thought they saw a comedy, and Fredo says yes to go unnoticed.
In the morning, Fredo's film ends up being a success, as Richie explains on the social networks Screeny Screen and RightNow-O-Gram. With several kids taking pictures of him on the porch of his house. Tiny arrives on the scene with a tablet showing him the worst moments of his film, including when Melvin dropped the camera or when Fredo hit himself with a cardboard gravestone, moments that last at least 20 minutes. Fredo, remarkably nervous about how his film is treated, pretends he wants to forget it, which his audience doesn't want to do, and they ask him for a second premiere on Richie's ship. He doesn't want to, but everyone gives him puppy eyes to do something, including his subconscious represented by the characters in the movie.

The block' kids applauding that Fredo is not discouraged in trying to create movies
In Richie's ship at night, the film is shown again precisely when the villain mocks the protagonist by having three buttocks. Where the boys throw bananas and tomatoes in reference to the ships in that way that appear after this first scene. Vlad again speaks to Fredo, where he tells him to stay calm and make the others believe he made a comedy to go unnoticed. He also says that he didn't bother to translate the language himself had invented either.
Not being able to pretend anymore, he shouts to the public "I made a bad movie", where he also criticizes it saying that it is difficult to create one. The Harvey Girls and Richie tell him not to be discouraged from trying again, and the kids applaud him. When Fredo gave Richie ideas, the second one proposes to start low with more hard work and better cost management due to the cake incident and change it for snacks, with Fredo saying that the latter is a mistake that the Directors in their second films commit. The episode ends with the protagonist (Fredo) saying "May the tri-buttocks be with you", and then closing with a card reminiscent of old movies.
