Destroy J-Lab! is a mission in Grand Theft Auto 2 available during Area 1: Downtown, given to the protagonist Claude Speed by the Loony boss Elmo. The mission is available from the right yellow phone in the neighborhood of Fruitbat in Downtown District.
Moderate Respect for the Loonies is required in order to unlock this mission, indicated by the yellow light icon below the gang's respect-o-meter on the HUD.
Description[]
The Yakuza have created a drug to cure the insane, and are using it on the Loonies. They would like to stay in insanity, and so Elmo hires Claude to blow up the Yakuza's J-Lab, where the stuff is being developed. Claude does this and ends up destroying the place and project permanently.
Reward[]
The reward for completing the mission is $40,000, +1 Score Multiplier, and increased Loonies Respect level.
