Mission Objectives
PC/Dreamcast Steal a Zaibatsu Z-Type. Drive over to the SRS area and kill 50 Scientists. Steal a SRS Meteor. Get on down to Zaibatsu Village and kill 50 Z-Men. PlayStation Steal a Zaibatsu Z-Type. Drive over to the SRS area and kill 20 Scientists. Steal a SRS Meteor. Get on down to Zaibatsu Village and kill 20 Z-Men.

Double-Cross Crush! (or Gang Car Bang! in the PlayStation version) is a mission in Grand Theft Auto 2 available during Area 2: Residential, given to the protagonist Claude Speed by the Redneck boss Billy Bob Bean. The mission is available from the top green phone in front of the Cobbs Store at the Mobile RV Park in Residential District.

Minimum Respect for the Rednecks is required in order to unlock this mission, indicated by the green light icon below the gang's respect-o-meter on the HUD.

Description

The Rednecks are annoyed with the Zaibatsu Corporation and SRS Scientists so they hire Claude to start a gang war by killing 50 (or 20 on PlayStation) of each gang with their rival's gang car.

Reward

The reward for completing the mission is $30,000, +1 Score Multiplier, and increased Rednecks Respect level.

Walkthrough

Answering the phone, Claude Speed is asked by Billy Bob Bean to start a gang war between the Zaibatsu and the Scientists. First he asks him to steal a Zaibatsu Z-Type.

After killing enough Scientists using the Z-Type, Billy Bob tells Claude to steal a Meteor and use it to kill the Zaibatsu members.
