Find and steal the G4 Bank Van for Trey Welsh. Escape the Yakuza and deliver the van to the Zaibatsu safehouse in Omnitron. Kill the Yakuza.

Bank Van Theft! is a mission in Grand Theft Auto 2 available during Area 1: Downtown, given to the protagonist Claude Speed by the Zaibatsu Corporation boss Trey Welsh. The mission is available from the red phone at Zaibatsu HQ in the neighborhood of Omnitron in Downtown District, after the completion of Armored Car Clash!

Maximum Respect for the Zaibatsu is required in order to unlock this mission, indicated by the red light icon below the gang's respect-o-meter on the HUD.

Description

Trey needs used bank notes for his contraband drug operation, so he hires Claude to steal a G4 Bank Van around town. Claude gets into trouble with the Yakuza along the way.

Reward

The reward for completing the mission is $60,000, +1 Score Multiplier, and increased Zaibatsu Respect level.
