Daniel B. Sparr was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Sparr was nominated by President George H.W. Bush on January 24, 1990 and assumed senior status on May 1, 2001. He served in that capacity until his death on November 9, 2006.[1]

Judicial nominations and appointments

Sparr was nominated by President George H.W. Bush on January 24, 1990, to a seat vacated by John Porfilio. Sparr was confirmed by the Senate on April 5, 1990, and received commission the next day. He assumed senior status on May 1, 2001, and served in that capacity until his death on November 9, 2006.[1] Sparr was succeeded in this position by Judge Marcia Krieger.
