Garcia (Democratic Party) ran for election to the West Virginia State Senate to represent District 13. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Joey Garcia graduated from Fairmont Senior High School in 2001. Garcia earned a B.A. in history and a J.D. from West Virginia University in 2005 and 2009, respectively.[1] His career experience includes working as an attorney with the Manchin Injury Law Group, and the senior counsel for legislation and policy and the director of legislative affairs with the Office of the Governor of West Virginia.[2]
